“Petit Boeuf verwijst zoals op zijn Frans vertaald naar vlees maar ook naar het Vlaamse boeffen.” Met andere woorden kunt u bij bar boeuf genieten van een Frans-Belgische keuken, waar het draait om eerlijke en verse producten die op eenvoudige, pure vorm worden klaargemaakt. Er zullen uiteraard vlees gerechten worden geserveerd, maar de chef houdt graag rekening met vegetariers en dieetwensen. Reserveer een plekje aan de ruime, gezellige bar of neem plaats in lichte huiselijke sferen met uitzicht op de Dageraadplaats. U bent van harte welkom voor een aangename lunch of eigentijds diner! Excellent meat lovers restaurant. It’s small and tasteful, on one of my favorite squares in Antwerp, just outside the crowded city center. Great meat and excellent wines. Service is good too. Oddly enough not opened on weekends, they must like their free time too . Making a reservation is recommended.

We went to this place for dinner for my husband’s bday since he is an absolute meat lover and the restaurant didn’t disappointed, the steak tartar was like none of the ones I had tasted before, incredible flavours. We ordered Belgian entrecôte plus rubia gallega and both were absolutely delicious! Separate note for the fries, I think they were the best I have ever tried just a warning if you are coming by car on the weekend, plan enough time to find a parking spot because it is very complicated in the area

Meat focused restaurant on a cosy square in Antwerp. Rather small menu for starters & mains but shouldn’t be a problem for meatlovers. We went for the Butcher’s gin with secreto 07 as apero, the tartare & croquette as starter and Holstein entrecôte as main. It’s not mentioned how long the meat was aged, in my opinion it could have aged a little longer but very tastefull & tender. Big no no is that they serve cold plates, please do the effort to warm them so we can enjoy our diner without it getting cold .

I went here with my husband for our anniversary. We were not disappointed! The appetizer was a little pricey (€28), but well worth it! We each got a steak and shared a lovely bottle of wine. The service was great and we will definitely be back!

It’s all about the meat here, without too many distractions. And boy, with such quality, it would be a shame to do so.

Anyhow, if we’re talking pure quality, this place is easily in the top 5 meat restaurants in Antwerp. But when it comes to price/quality, it’s a no-brainer in my opinion: Petit Boeuf should be the best
