It was a nice quiet evening that I had with my kids.
It is expensive, appetizer, dinner, drinks, dessert, tip for 3 people was just over $200
The cod was cooked to perfection (I still don’t like cod but I tried my son’s)
The fillet over risotto was an incredible flavorful dish and the meat was so tender and a perfect medium rare. My daughter had a chicken Alfredo type dish and was tasty as well. Chicken was nice and juicy.
I would definitely recommend reservations as it does get busy…
Definitely a solid choice if you’re looking for a nice place to eat!
Walked in and waited 30 mins.
Host clearly overwhelmed. People cut in front of us as we were waiting. She helped the people that cut us even though we were there first. Had my 4 year old with me he was starting to get ancy so I walked up to an employee because the host still hadn’t greet us. She said sorry hold on the host will be with you. Waited 10 more mins. She finally comes says, okay what’s the name on you’re reservation? I said we do not have one this is my first time here didn’t know that was required. She said it is not. I said okay can we have that table over there. She replies unfortunately all of the seats are taken and we’re not taking anyone else after just telling me reservation isn’t required. As I was going to walk out I turn and see a bar side with open tables all across. I ask is it okay to sit over there and if so can please get us someone to take our order quickly as my son has been waiting. She yes will do. Never happened. So I then walk to the bar side to clean off the tables myself. The lady that waited on our table on the bar side never filled mine, my wife’s, or sons drink. The wings I ordered were supposed to be ghost pepper. They were buffalo. I tell the waitress. Shes oh that’s weird. No offer to fix it. No accommodations. Nothing. Clearly this place runs off of name and doesn’t care how they treat new people I just want to make sure the owner knows this his entire staff is pretty unwelcoming to veteran families that have a young child. Not cool at all. Above all else the food was sub par. Bright spot of the place was the atmosphere at least. Won’t come back. Won’t recommend to anyone else on fort drum that’s wondering. And definitely won’t bring my family back
Have a happy new year
