Went in on a Sunday night after some nasty winter weather had us grab a hotel room in town instead of continuing our travels. Tried a few places before Pete’s that all had their Google listing’s and Facebook pages saying they were open, but turned out not to be or were closing early. Pete’s only had 2 patrons and the bartender, when we walked in we weren’t sure if they were closing early as well, but the bartender greeted us warmly and we sat at the bar. Wound up getting to know the patrons and the bartender and having a great time. Gavin is a gem and Frank who does trivia on Tuesdays did an impromptu little trivia night while we hung out. After the disappointing stops prior to Pete’s, we were very glad to end up at a fun stop making our stay in stevens point a positive one. 🙂

This is legitimately the only bar we go to when we go out anymore. I am completely terrible at the fine art of karaoke but it’s fun. Drinks are always good and the atmosphere is perfect for myself and my friends.

Pete’s is my favorite bar in Steven’s Point. It’s not big, flashy, or fancy, and that’s what makes it so great. Come to Pete’s for a no frills, reasonably priced experience. The full restaurant menu of the Olympic family restaurant is available to you any time they’re open. Can you get pancakes with a beer if you stop in there for breakfast? Damn right you can. This place is of, by, and for the regulars. Treat them with respect, and they’ll make you a part of the club. If you think the proximity to campus means that it’s a perfect spot to go turn up with your squad, think again. Pete’s doesn’t want that nonsense. Jeremy is hands down the best bartender in the city, and Ozzie, Hannah, and the rest of the team are great as well. There’s karaoke every weekend, sports on the TVs, and a clientele that will make you feel like family.

This place has the friendliest bartenders and cheap drinks. Ladies night on Thursdays with a great special of buy 1, get 1 free.
Karaoke is every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Kitchen is only open until 9pm but cheese fries are available still available after.
I wish there were more bars like this.

Cheap drinks for sure. Probably cheapest in town as a whole. Really great dive bar if that’s your thing. The owner DESPERATELY needs to clean up and make some updates.
Service usually very good. Can depend on the mood of the bartender. The worst part is probably the clientele. People pour in there on a Sunday and expect full restaurant service…which isn’t feasible for one person to do all of that.
A much different experience then its counterpart, The Olympia.

This is a great place and have more food options then normal bar since it’s attached to a restaurant. They do alot for like music and karaoke. Drinks are good. It can get pretty crowded when things are going on. Can be very loud.

Mixed drinks taste funny, karaoke is fun but has terrible sound quality, staff I’ve encountered is…….odd. This place feels super cliquey, and if you’re not a regular you don’t feel welcome at all.

The staff here in amazing! I’m not all that social and they make me feel at home every time. It’s a great place for drinks and some laid back karaoke

Pretty cool bar. Not what you’d expect from the outside, plus there’s a outdoor smoking area. Ice cold beer and nice air conditioning when it’s hot outside. They also serve food. What else could you want? Nice place.

Absolute banger of a local bar. Come looking for great service and terrible language.
