Good ice-cream and service. I ordered Nestlé Toll House ice-cream and a chocolate, both with sugar cones, for my son. Both were good. My friend, she had a sundae with Maine Bear Tracks, raspberry ice-cream with chocolate chips.
Seating out back . We saw birds sitting close to us. I guess they were waiting for someone to drop something or they felt safe from predators.
Driving range if you play golf ⛳. Interesting combination.
Decent amount of parking ️. Facemasks are not required to order. Debit/credit cards accepted.
S’mores ice-cream was good! Mint chip I liked but tasted the same as other ice-cream stands.
Update: July 2025; Good service! Oreo and Soft Serve Twist were good !
I recommend a visit.

Reminiscent of an old Dairy Queen style shop with window service and outside benches for seating. Humongous amount of flavors with more than generous portions. Friendly service and more than reasonable prices serving traditional ice cream, sherbets, Italian ice and slushies. The selection is plentiful and satisfies all your cravings for cool, creamy and frozen treats. Stop by and don’t let the lines turn you away…it’s definitely worth the stop.

Pete’s Scoop serve Richardson’s ice cream and that’s all. The portion size is very generous and the prices are rather affordable. They are the only option in town, forget about the other guys! (And they accept credit cards!!) Lots of different flavors, plenty of tables in the back.

Good selection of ice cream including New England seasonal specials. And super honest staff. I was accidentally overcharged for my ice cream, they came out to my car, told me and returned the extra money. That’s the way to run a business, great product, honest great customer service.

Ice cream was good but I paid $7 for a large soft serve in a cup and the center was totally empty. What a sick joke

My family and I come here all the time and we love the ice cream; but, recently when I have come to get a smoothie or frappe around 9:30 the workers say they can’t serve either. Apparently they clean the machine early so they can go home, but if you say you’re open till 10 then I think you should be willing to serve all the items on the menu or just close at 9:30 instead. The first time I was told they couldn’t serve frappes, I was extremely understanding as they said it was a very slow day, but now it’s happened multiple times now. It’s very frustrating.

Can’t help but bare warning to those thinking about coming here. First time there and i had decided on a parfait, $7.25. I made a simple request to change the ice cream from soft serve to hard serve, the girl at the window explained she cant make it in the parfait cup, understandable, but that she could make it in a large cup and add the toppings. We decided to do that and i had walked off while my bf paid for the ice cream. He came over and told me it was $12 and some change for the one ice cream.. so i went up to window and asked how it could possibly be that much when the parfait was only $7.25 (i understand there is meals tax and that hard serve is $1 more than soft) so maybe $8.50 but definitely not $12. I suppose the “manager” came up and instantly was rude and disrespectful. I explained the pricing and she said “well theres no refund so eat what you got” I told her i no longer wanted the ice cream and got a refund on the full $12. I will never be back and will definitely be letting people know to stay away!

Received an ad in the Windy Indy that advised Pete’s is open for the season. Stopped by on 3/30 with two very excited kids for ice cream – guess it was false advertising!
