Love Pete’s. Dinner was great, and my favorite, the flatbread pizza- but let’s be honest, Maikou (sp?) carried the whole experience. She was hustling the entire time and still managed to give us fantastic service with a great attitude. Professional, attentive, and clearly knows what she’s doing. Some people just know how to run a table, and Maikou is one of them. Amazing service. Restaurants need more Maiko’s!

I wanted to try this place in Yuba city and I am glad I did !
It’s tastefully decorated inside and has plenty of outdoor seating. It is located next to Sizzler.
I ordered the shrimp appetizer and chicken lollipops. The shrimp was breaded nicely and the sauce was delicious! I also tried the chicken lollipops ( think drumsticks shaped into a lollipop) and i chose the garlic parm as the seasoning. Although not a fan of the dark meat the seasoning was perfect!
The menu is extensive as is the beer and wine choices. This is a full bar with counter seating as well.
Michelle (bartender/server was pleasant and helpful with deciding what to order.
I really liked the vibe inside! I got there when they opened at 11am and they were starting to get quite busy by 1130am.
Plenty of parking. Bathrooms very clean!
I would definitely come back here again with friends!

Service was good. All staff we encountered were pleasant. I understand it’s a weekly special. But for $10 more I’ll be going to the Casino next time for there buffet. Special shout out to the guy slicing there prime rib special cut. Mad skills to get the pieces of rib so thin and consistent. Both our pieces were med to med well cooked and we asked for medium rare. The edges of the rib was crunchy and dry. We had to heavily season everything aside from the brocoli it was pretty brown and didn’t look right..

After a terrible experience under the old ownership and finding out there is new ownership, I was excited to try it again. The first time under new ownership the food was absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, that would be the only time I can say that. I have ordered the exact same order a few times now and the inconsistency is astounding. None of the items are prepared in even a similar fashion or taste two times in a row. Even the chicken tenders which were wonderfully seasoned actual cuts of chicken, clearly hand breaded and fried to a perfect crispy perfection the first time, are now long ground chicken nuggets with the soggy breading that you would find at a fast food restaurant. The salmon, that was perfectly cooked and served with wonderful lemon garlic linguine, was then almost half the size, overcooked, and served with some sort of pasta that had little to no flavor.
The ability to make amazing food is there, my first meal from here under the new management was one of the best meals I have had in a while, and I think the new management has really turned the place around, but if the consistency isn’t able to get under control, some people will never experience the great quality and they will have difficulty retaining customers

Ordered New York steak with roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes are the best part and can only be described as some weird glue type substance. The vegetables first of all are certainly not roasted and I’m positive they are from a bagged frozen vegetable medley of some sort. And the steak. I ordered medium well. It’s much closer to medium rare. Unfortunately we used door dash tonight so I can’t even ask to have it fixed. I’ve eaten there now probably 3 or 4 times and every time has been a huge disappointment. I will not be trying it again.

Pete’s have a great selection of vegetarian options! The quinoa bowl, veggie soup, and veggie sandwich were amazing! Please keep the blue zones menu, I love the initiative! Sequoia was also a great and attentive server. I plan on coming back!

Such a beautiful place, we came in from out of town and soooooo very impressed the atmosphere is so positive and warming, and the food absolutely amazing! Now let’s talk about our service . I am so impressed with our server/bartender Angie , she was kind caring , checked on us , we definitely felt like we was at home! Can’t wait to come back here again! The food is pretty good, but not super great. Service is excellent, and remained excellent all evening. Live band playing on this Friday evening.
Update – After being to this establishment several times, I would rate it a 5 stars, and this is due to the continuous excellent service provided by Michelle. Always personable and prompt, she exemplifies and is the personification of how a server/bartender should be.
