The restaurant was clean, and I love the live plants. The restroom smelled pleasant to use. I was greeted immediately. The food was ready quickly. Everything looked beautiful, and I appreciate fresh cooking oil and not frying fish in the oil that other things are fried in. One order was chill cheeseburger with onion rings and cole slaw. The slaw was perfect just the way I like a little crisp, a little sweet, and a little wet. The onion rings were nice and big and perfectly fried. However, they were not seasoned, and they had no taste at all, but the ketchup helped them out. The cheeseburger was delicious and not too much chili. I was able to eat it while driving. The second plate was flounder, onion rings, hushpuppies, and fried squash. Beautifull nice, large piece of flounder nicely seasoned. The squash was good.

First timers… It’s a laid back cafe/ diner. Food is cooked to order. We chose this place after searching hand dipped onion rings. My husband got a hamburger plate with onion rings and slaw. Burgers do fit in and come with mayo lettuce and tomato. It was a Good choice. I had daily special, tenders Mac and cheese with green beans. It was served with garlic bun . Chicken was tender. Mac is homemade . Honey mustard was great. We also got a liver plate which was also served with a garlic bun. We will definitely come back ! Thank you

This restaurant has been here for decades. I would come with my grandparents from Lakeside Community to eat here on Friday nights. My father would eat here for breakfast before he passed away. The food is still delicious and the service is great! Even with the changes in cooks and cashiers, they have held their food and service to the best quality and haven’t lost their signature. Thank you Pete’s. I came here while visiting from Georgia. I ordered the hamburger plate and it was still good as I remembered as a teenager ❤️

The first time I had it a black man was cooking and I loved it ! But I’m not tryna be rude or racist but the second time I went it was a white man and the food had no seasoning! Just bland . The mashed potatoes tasted and flowed like water ! The greens were definitely not seasoned tasted like water too . the food definitely was not as good as the first time they need to stick to one chef in the back because that second man don’t know what he doing ! Other than that no complaints give them a try hopefully they stick to the recipe

It’s not terrible but it’s not worth writing home to momma about it. Food is pretty cheap and they are pretty quick to get your order out. But I don’t think they know what salt or any kind of seasoning is. Fries are blan, onion rings have zero taste. Burger has the same texture as ones we had in high-school. The chilling no doubt came out of a can. I would compare this to a high-school concession stand, quality wise. But I will be back to try other menu items.

White Horse Rd location… SAVE YOUR MONEY!! I and my 3 children ate the food from this drive-thru restaurant today 04-19-25 and, we will NEVER eat from this place again! The hamburger sandwiches and the hamburger meat in their chili cheese fries is the lowest quality of beef I’ve ever eaten and you can taste that it had been frozen… my pitbull wouldn’t even eat it! Not joking!! The hamburger buns tasted like they had expired. I wasted my $54.00 by eating here. So sad.
