What a fantastic pizza! Pete’s Pizza has mastered the art of simplicity. The sauce is a standout, full of great flavor, and the crust is exactly what you want it to be: perfectly chewy with a slight crisp. Almost like a baguette. For a New York style pizza, the crust is perfect. Not too thin, not too thick. This is a truly delicious pie that’s all about quality ingredients. I don’t think I’ve had a better Pizza from a local place in Florida ever. Highly recommended for anyone in the area looking for a great pie!

I’ve tried to give this place multiple chances because the pizza itself is genuinely good — especially for a $5 slice. If it were just about the food, I’d have zero complaints. That’s honestly the only reason I keep coming back.
Unfortunately, the service has been consistently disappointing. There is one female employee in particular whose attitude makes the experience uncomfortable every time. The interactions feel dismissive and unnecessarily rude. I’m not expecting special treatment — just basic courtesy and professionalism. When you’re spending your money somewhere, that shouldn’t be too much to ask.
What makes this situation even more concerning is that after I left an honest review about my experience, I was told I was trespassed from the establishment. Being banned simply for sharing feedback feels extreme and unprofessional. Reviews are meant to reflect customer experiences — good or bad — and banning someone over that raises serious questions about how criticism is handled.
It’s frustrating because the pizza is good, but the repeated negative service and now being trespassed for expressing my experience makes it hard to support this business moving forward. I hope management reconsiders how customer concerns are addressed, because the food deserves better representation than the service I’ve received.

I don’t usually write reviews unless I feel like I really need to, and unfortunately this is one of those times.
Pete’s Pizza is amazing — easily a 10/10. I literally ate the pizza four days in a row. The food itself is fantastic, and that’s why this review is disappointing to write.
That said, the customer service is the worst, specifically from the lady behind the counter. I’ve had multiple encounters where she was extremely disrespectful toward me. On one occasion, she even made an explicit and offensive hand gesture toward me inside the store. That behavior is completely unacceptable.
I was beyond upset, but I kept my composure out of respect for Pete and the business. Still, no customer should ever be treated that way.

In town visiting from Philly and had Pete’s for the first time. Delicious pizza and Sicilian pizza, with a very friendly staff! Highly recommend!! Especially if you’re visiting from the Northeast and looking for a great pizza place that’s similar to home!!

Walk-in order. Got a large veggie pizza and 6 garlic knots. I didn’t open the knots until I got home unfortunately. I ate a slice of pizza on the way home. Pizza was good, had a good amount of toppings. The garlic knots were too overdone. My friend who ordered 12 knots at the same time got a perfectly cooked dozen, loaded with minced garlic. Mine were brown, especially on the bottom. Disappointed. I wish I had taken a picture of my friends to show the difference in the knots. This is my first time ordering food here.

Pete’s Pizza is a gem! We stopped here as a halfway meeting spot between Jacksonville and Orlando and were blown away.
