Sorry Pete. But we won’t be back. What we were met with this visit made my mind up.. for good.. rude customer service, again.. gooey batter hiding under a light brown light crisp cover on both my fish and shrimp platter.. tough chilled fries, again.. I even politely asked for light salt but everything was unsalted with salt packets thrown on top of the greasy food (seriously).
I was rooting for you guys but now I see that my best bet for my fish and chips fix will have to be satisfied elsewhere.. good luck.

The lady that took my order was really rude, like she had way better things to do than be courteous. The fish nearly burned my mouth about 2 bites in, but the cheese was barely melted, and the rest of it was warm at best. Idk how that’s even possible in a fryer? And when she called my order, it was so loud and with attitude. My friend and I were the only people there at the time. Needless to say, next time I come to AZ for a visit, I won’t be going here.
The cherry Pepsi was good! But the tables were filthy. I mean.. how hard is it to routinely wipe down tables and pick up trash? I managed to do it when I worked at mcdonalds. I am aware of the responsibilities and tasks assigned to crew members. When your customers don’t have somewhere clean to enjoy their meal, they will find another place, and you can’t justify paying people to work when there is no work. It’s reciprocal.
Ok. Rant over.. btw, the rail goes to Mesa drive and main, where there is another Pete’s, that has always treated me like I matter.

Should of went to the one on main in Mesa. My fries were old! Usually, you get fresh fries and fish! My fish was fresh, but I got old, dry, over cooked fries! Like potato chips. I’m disappointed cause I love Pete’s fish n chips. But never had an experience like this.

We waited for 25 minutes for our food, there were 2 individuals in front of us they also waited for a while. The shrimp were cut down the middle, spread and then battered into a long straight piece. The shrimp was overcooked, and so was the fish. It looked like 1 guy cooking, 1 person doing the drive through, and one guy was in the back. This Pete’s was horrible, if you want the good food…go to the one in Mesa

The first time it was pretty cool I asked for my food to be fresh and they did that now the second time I was very disappointed because when I came in to the window instead of the drive-through, I’m sitting there waiting nobody came to the window. three employees walked by the window didn’t say nothing so I got tired of waiting for almost 10 minutes so I got back in my car and this time I went through the drive-through I ordered my food. I told him I want everything fresh when I finally got home. I was a little bit irritated the french fries didn’t taste fresh. They taste blend with no salt. No taste. They were cold. They just taste nasty. My daughter’s chicken nuggets were burnt. She didn’t even enjoy it. My burger was probably the only thing that was OK. Not the greatest but OK I just wanna say like gotta do better like I don’t know the change of the shift but the first time I went service was cool. Second time in a different week different setting different crew attitude. I asked the lady that came and gave me my soda. What was the total she couldn’t answer me it’s like OK it’s a simple question and so she left the window open and then another lady comes up close the window. It’s like OK I don’t know if I wanna come back to that one because it’s like damn is this what we doing so I guess I’m gonna have to try another pete I could’ve took the food back. I’m five months pregnant. I’m tired had a migraine. There’s just no point I don’t think those employees wants to catch my wrath or my attitude so I just left it alone. I just know not to go back to that location ever again in Tempe.
