Fantastic, authentic Greek food by a great family owned restaurant. Pete’s family does a great job with these unique flavors and traditions. Small, cozy atmosphere with a lot of history. But service can be European paced, to put it nicely. I would definitely come back and try more of the menu.

This is a little bit of a drive from where we live, but always worth it. Food is so good. Authentic. Staff is friendly and attentive. One of my favorite things to get is the chicken and rice soup. YUM! This is one of our family favorite places to go for recognizing certain events. Remembering passed loved ones, celebrating birthdays, recognizing achievements, or just having a taste for the food! The fried calamari appetizer is a very generous portion. I recommend checking out this lovely restaurant.

This is one of the best Greek restaurant experiences I have had while in Denver. Everything was perfect I can’t stress enough that you need to try it if you haven’t. I had the lamb gyro, Greek potatoes, egg lemon soup, and the spanikopita! It was all phenomenal.

please stop skimming on the greek salad.
They added a lot of lettuce (even carrot crumbs as if they took the salad from a plastic bag on the supermarket) as a filler (not really part of an actual greek salad), needs WAY more tomatoes.
My salad didn’t even half 1/2 tomatoe, super disappointed, had only 2 pieces of tomatoes.
They add hot peppers instead of regular bell peppers (not unusual, but not classic)
They also don’t add enough feta cheese.
You can do better, I was disappointed after coming back from Greece and craving a good authentic Greek Salad.

We’re long time fans of Pete’s restaurants. We ordered to go tonight & were not disappointed with our Grecian platter! The crispy salad was loaded with olives, cucumbers, tomatoes & feta cheese. The three meats were tasty & tender & the pita bread was still warm. Lunch tomorrow with the abundant leftovers!

I really wanted to like this place. I’ve had my eye on it for years. Hoping to find a replacement for Pete’s Gyro Place on Colfax. It just fell short. Flavorless salad, frozen bagged fries, and just blah gyro. The decor is tired. And there wasn’t any music or background. It was eerily quite. It just doesn’t have that pizzazz.

This is still Greek inspired dinning at Pete’s Central One on Alameda. I had the Rack of Lamb and it was good. I loved it. Chased it down with a shot of Ouzo.

If you’re looking for home cooked fine Greek dining this is the place to go. Everything we had tonight was cooked fresh and amazing. The staff was welcoming and the drinks were awesome.

Amazing Greek food and such a welcoming family atmosphere. We loved everything about this restaurant, my parents would eat here when they lived in Wash Park in the 80s and attest that the restaurant has not lost its family charm. The food is absolutely fantastic and authentic!
