It was a great atmosphere and I ran into some people I haven’t seen in a long time. I grew up across the street from that bar it still has the same owner. So many wonderful memories with great people I met. Peter’s place will always be a special place to me with an amazing owner Mikey Peters.

This is a dive not in the certain specific decor since, but in that it is a small spot to grab drinks on the cheap. And that being said, this is a nice spot to grab a drink on the cheap. However, they do not have food, they just have menus for you to order food to them. So if you’re looking for a lunch spot, this is not it. If you’re looking for a nice friendly local watering hole, not a bad spot to enjoy a gently priced beer and chat with the regulars.

Peter’s Place is like a Trenton Cheers. Bartenders are amazing, drinks reasonably priced, patrons are welcoming and friendly. Come on down and have a drink. First one will be on “The Sport” Mikey (the owner).

It’s a nice, well kept, clean, and friendly little neighborhood bar. The bar area is kinda tight and narrow but enough room to squeeze by the people at the bar. Up the steps to the back, they have two pool tables and that area is nice and roomy. Out back is a patio and tables which is fenced in and I’m told is used in the warmer months for out door drinking and dining. I didn’t notice anybody eating but somebody said the food was good. All in all, I had a pleasant experience and had a good time with some pretty cool people! I’d recommend it to people in the area. Parking is a challenge because they don’t have a parking lot but that is the only thing I could see as a drawback.

If you are looking for a Bar that will bring you back in time Peters is the place for you. It’s a great place that looks like it hasn’t changed in decades. It has the feeling or originality to it, like how Trenton/ Chambersburg was during you parents day. The only negative thing to say maybe is that there is NO tap beer. Bottle or Can for you, or mixed drinks.
