Had a holiday happy hour with friends at the local historic bar and restaurant. Friendly bartender, great drinks and appetizers. Duck, quesidilla is the best! Decorated beautifully.

Had dinner here tonight with a few friends and I must say, I was very impressed. I knew the food was good but I did not know it was this good.

A disappointing experience. Food and atmosphere was good, but service was beyond slow and it wasn’t even busy. Pretty surprising at this price point. It took 40 minutes for someone to acknowledge our table and that was only after asking a passing waiter for help.

Went for restaurant week. Food was good, service was great. Lost a star because our bill came and that’s when we learned the $4 fountain beverages don’t include free refills — what a weird thing for such a nice place to cheap out on! Even mcdonalds has free refills

fun rustic feel and experience, hidde tavern in the woods, but its really that the entrance is on the side of the Inn walkway leading to steps below ground level.

Was there for s catered wedding rehearsal dinner. So not sure on who was responsible for the food so I won’t go there. It’s s large old hose with 2 bars, a restaurant and a large room that was used for s very large party.

Had heard and read some good things about this place so was excited to try. Arrived exactly on time. Still hadn’t had our drink order taken 25 minutes after being seated. A party of 6 was seated after us and when we left they had their drinks and apps were ordered….. we still had no drinks. Basement feel, loud, looked up at ceilings dirty. Got up and left before any drinks and food were ordered. Not getting my business.

I had the mussels. This is one of the best presentations of mussels over pasta I ever had in my life. The mussels tasted extremely fresh. The balance of the wine, butter and pasta were done to perfection.

Wonderful dinner and service the evening after Thanksgiving, out for my partner’s birthday. She and I shared the Peking duck quesadilla appetizer, followed by the pastrami spiced salmon and monkfish oso bucca, finished with the sticky date cake ala mode (heavenly!) and decaf cappuccinos. Fresh sourdough bread served at the start, and a nice cocktail and glass of Pinot noir.

Such an inviting, historic atmosphere. Great bar, eclectic menu of stepped up American fair.
