Store is just about empty. Whoever owns it just doesn’t seem to care. Food selection was a few ‘burger bin’ burgers and some bologna & ham to be sliced. Soft drink selection was slim to none. It’s sad, this used to be a really good store.

As much as I want to leave this place a good review I just can’t. I walked in at 7:30 to be greeted with a “are you looking for something” with the rudest attitude. I heard so many good things about this place so I told her how we was just in town wanting to try the famous hamburgers and she said well we are out and pointed to the door. A little friendliness goes a long way. I’m more than understanding if hours changed or if she just didn’t feel like doing it. But to be greeted in that way. Definitely won’t be back

The store used to be one of my family’s favorite places to go eat or get snacks but now the place is empty not having what we want when they used to carry it all the time, the employees definitely have changed and not for the better used to be quick friendly service now it’s grouchy or confused service.

Thus was a great store at one time. Now there isn’t much of a selection on the shelves. Several brands of soft drinks were also missing. The food is pretty good. The service is good, and sometimes great. Depending on who is working.

Forget some chain in Leitchfield. Or even that half-arsed ice cream place keeps botherin me on groogle. This nice lady digs deep and pulls it off quick when you got a hangry baseball team of kids.
All the drinks. All the snacks. The ol skool three-minute, mile-long gumball greetin ya at the door and an NDN to boot (respek). You’ll find a dressed-up cheeseburger just messy enough to save in your beard down the road that tastes like everything you wish any dirty burger could be an’ll keep you from settin foot in a MacDonals for a year or three.
Them pickles, them shrooms, those bites.
And a supper special I’ll have next summer… Thanks ya, ma’am!
Sunoco gas, snacks, gumballs, clean baños, hot grill, and a full restaurant of tables ta chill. Plus the swings and slides ‘cross the way.

Nice friendly helpful people. We go there when visiting rough river. We get our bait here. Our gas here. They have ice cream, pizza and chicken and hamburgers and more.
