If you’ve ever asked where to eat when visiting Neptune or the Jersey Shore, I’m sure at least someone has recommended Pete and Elda’s. If you’re looking for some great Italian food and a great bar, look no further! Pete and Elda’s / Carmen’s Pizzeria are a must visit. They are well known for their extra thin crust pizza, which is delicious. However, my partner and I often come to get their weekly specials. My partners gets the weekly soup combo pretty often. I really enjoy their Alfredo. It’s made with egg which makes it so creamy. I also really like their chicken cheesesteak. The vibe in the restaurant is very nice, but it gets very busy… especially in the summer. We mostly come in the off season. Regardless, the service is top notch. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Though I’ve never done it, check out their double xl pizza challenge. You’ll win a t-shirt if you complete it!

As good as advertised! Very busy but they have a great system for seating guests and working tables that makes it quick. Good service, and great food. The pizza was super thin, crackery crust but buttery and delicious. Super easy to eat. Wings were great too, and the chopped antipasto salad hit the spot too. Would definitely go back.

Apparently, I’ve eaten here before according to my uncle. But that was a long time ago. I’m not sure why I don’t remember because the pizza was delicious. He said we sat at the bar and had a personal pizza.
Taste wise it’s close to NYC pizza except the crust is very thin. I ordered the extra large with pepperoni and extra cheese and a few slices in I added mozzarella sticks. I LOVE CHEESE! It was delicious but I couldn’t finish it all. It was very greasy because of the pepperoni. But that’s I how I like it.
’ll be having pizza for breakfast.

Great thin crust pizza, tasty and cooked just right. Wings and mozz sticks were good, and beer came out nice and cold. Good service too. Will be back.

NJ Staple Period! If your on the hunt for NJ best pizza spots, Pete and Eldas BETTER be on that list. They dominate the thin crust market. If you like it a little extra crunchy like I do, just ask. Dont forget to leave your menu standing up to signal your ready to order!!! They have a system – THEYRE ALWAYS PACKED – Dont be afraid to wait or if your a party less than 3 ppl, just head to the bar! Food is great there 10/10

I walk in and get greeted by a very nice hostess, she walked us to our table 10/10 hostess. We sat down and everything was fine, until the waitress wakes towards us, she was nice at first but when I decided I didn’t wanna get anything I was astounded to hear a very judgemental “really?”. I was not happy. My two friends ordered the pizza challenge and when they got it I ate 1 slice off their pies and declared we were “disqualified” and will not be receiving our shirts. Nothing is that big over a t shirt lol bro. We finish up and the food is great as always. But when she read the tip of 12 dollars the exclaimed yet another “really?”. I have been to Pete and Elda’s numerous times and all of them have been a great experience but this one was truly dissapointing. I would rate lower than one star but alas I cannot.

First time at Pete and Elda’s and I was very happy with the pizza. We got pizza, a side of cheese fries, and 2 fountain drinks. The drinks were huge and the pizza and fries were a good size. The pizza is very thin and delicious. I loved that I didn’t feel super full after. We got there right before the rush, but by the time we left around 5:45PM, the crowd was out the door. Recommend coming a bit earlier to avoid the crowd.

A must when in Monmouth County. Thin, pastry like crust that has the perfect crisp, antipasta chopped or not, New England clam chowder to rival Boston. It is always busy and filled with both regulars and Bennies, anyone who manages to find this hidden gem along the Route 35 bridge by Belmar, will keep coming back. If you’re bold, take their t-shirt challenge and eat an XL Pie to go home with pride.
