The men at the counter remade my bread bowl because it wasn’t up to their standards, they we’re very welcoming and polite. Service was quick. I got a pasta bread bowl with creamy pesto sauce, food was fresh and tasted delicious!

I got the lasagna. Don’t come here for a lasagna. I was told people come here for the pasta bread bowls so bare that in mind. This rating is just for the lasagna which should be taken off the Mei as it is truly one of the of the worst I’ve ever had as an Italian. The red sauce here is terrible and made with cheap tomatoes, not San Marciano, another not suitable local tomatoes either. The ratios of everything and the construction was wrong, but mostly quality of ingredients, AVOID.

Oh my gosh!!! I picked up some cannolis and some pasta for my husband like a year or two ago and I forgot to leave a review!
When I walked in, the atmosphere, it was so homey and welcoming; it was like I’ve been going there for years! The two men that were helping me were so kind and gracious to take time to help me understand what some of the items were on the menu. Forgot what type of rigatoni dish we got but my husband absolutely loved it and I never had had a cannoli and they were really good. I remembered asking for a card from them and then that I would give them a really great review because I was so blown away. “Presence Makes The Meal.” That’s a philosophy I feel when I really enjoy not only the atmosphere, the presence of the people in house and obviously how delicious the food is! I hope that their business continues, flourishes and never closes and that they get whatever their heart desire is from this wonderful business.
Thank you so much & God Bless!

Petali’s food is fresh and tasty….wife had pasta bowl w/pesto and added sausage and loved it…..I fully enjoyed the meatball hero (sandwich) but wish it had a bit more sauce cause the sauce had great flavor…Try this mini restaurant with employees that are friendly and really care that you enjoy your meal experience!

Visited on a weekday for lunch. Somewhat busy. I ordered the half sandwich and soup combo (Meatball Sub and Minestrone Soup). Costed about ~$15.

The meatball sub was alright. Generous sized meatballs with red sauce, topped with melted cheese. I remember the red sauce being pretty good. Not really a fan of Minestrone (or soups in general), but it that was also alright.

The service was direct, friendly, and pretty fast. I asked them about what their recommendations were, and they were enthusiastic about sharing the fact that their meatball and minestrone soup recipes had been around for a long time.

The atmosphere was modern. They had a variety of seating – stool height tables, regular height, bench (I think), and outside patio seating.

The food wasn’t “knock your socks off” good, but it was decent.
It’s hard to judge whether or not the meal was worth ~$15… but that’s the economy we’re living in.

Would I come back here to eat again?
Maybe not of my own volition, but if someone invited me to eat here, I wouldn’t say no.

4 out of 5 Meatballs.

I’ve never had a bread bowl with pasta before so I decided to try it and found it yummy and filling! The pasta and the sauce itself was a good meal, but the garlic bread was just the perfect additional. It’s pretty heavy, so one order is enough for multiple meals, unless you’re really hungry.

The petali is good too! It’s an interesting way to serve zucchini.

This is one my go-to take out spots. Stopped by after a very long work day to grab soup and salad for dinner. Their blue cheese is so good I always have to get salad no matter what I order. Minestrone is hearty, thick and flavorful. Quick and friendly service for a great price. I didn’t have pasta tonight, but my personal favorite is alfredo sauce with chicken parm topping. Definitely reccomend to give it a try and support a locally owned business!
