The food was so tasty and satisfying. I had the salmon burger. The cabbage and lettuce ands special sauce was a nice complement. The place was small and clean. The customer service was great. Reasonable price for the location it’s in. The atmosphere is an experience away from reality. I’d go again once I save up money for a treat

Went to The Hugh food court again today for lunch with our niece visiting from San Francisco. Went early around 1115 am to beat the very busy lunch traffic. It was already busy but we got a good table. Today I had the Skewer Plater with salmon, sides of cucumber salad and roasted veggies. All was very taste.

New and 1st time. Came from over an hour away and we loved the green sauce! Gabriel was amazing… he was running the whole show by himself. Answered all our questions and fast service. Didn’t get to try Much but order Salmon Seafood platter and a large Fisherman’s soup that hit the spot. Very satisfied would be back and bring family from Poland. Clean bathrooms. Very impressed. Will be back!

Pesce Lulu is located inside a favorite food hall, The Hugh, with its indoor greenery and pretty sky lights. I have eaten here twice. Both times I had the fish tacos with French fries. The grilled mahi fish taco was crisp and I was able to make two portions as I got two tortillas. The fries? Crisp on the outside and fat and tender inside. I ate them slowly savoring each morsel. At about $10 & change this was excellent . Service was efficient. Pesce Lulu is open even on the weekends. Can’t wait to return.

Without the discounted Groupon, I would have felt like this was an incredibly overpriced restaurant for the food, service and ambiance. With that said, it was still expensive for the amount and quality of food. The fish fingers and chips had such unbelievably thick breading that you practically needed a magnifying glass to find the tiny pieces of fish! I asked if the thick fries were crispy and got an affirmative, but they were far from that. The Mahi skewer platter with two sides was tasty, but a pretty meager portion for the price…same thing goes for the Mahi burger. I was told we could get a carafe of ice water, but when I asked, I got three cups of tap water with ice. This is a high-end food court in an interesting building, but there are too many other restaurants I wish to try on my next visit to NYC to consider going back.

I received a different item from what I had ordered. They were quick to rectify the issue. The fish and chips was good. The shrimp and fish tacos were ok. I wish the tacos had more complex flavorful than just a linear sour taste.

Came here for the truffle fries for a snack and they did not disappoint – probably one of the best in the city. Didn’t have plans to stay and eat here but then I met the owner and he was awesome and personally made my husband and I impossible tacos and they were literally one of the best tacos I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to see how they expand but highly recommend for lunch or a casual dinner. A hidden gem for sure
