Came here with locals for the first time, found the ceviche & pisco sours to be *mind blowing,* then came back on my own 2.5 years later to be blown away all over again. It’s a local family place, a big hit with the lunch crowd, and it’s probably the most mind blowing seafood place I’ve ever eaten at. You need to like seafood to enjoy it though, because practically everything on the menu that isn’t dessert contains it! They do serve a good lomo saltado too though (pictured).

Overall the food is fine, and the spacious atmosphere is one of this place’s strengths. Regardless of whether there are few or many people, the service is generally provided smoothly without inconvenience at least for us. However, today I noticed a 10 percent tip was added to the bill without any prior question about whether we wanted to leave a tip. We have no objection to leaving a tip as a reward for good service, but I believe it is wrong to charge it without confirming our consent.

I wasn’t expecting much, but the food and drinks were absolutely delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced resulting in perfectly executed, simple dishes. Would definitely return.

Food was incredible! Highly recommend the risotto and octopus. Both were incredible. Service was great besides nobody returning for the first 10 minutes of us sitting.

So let’s go the movie route with this place … Clint Eastwood style … the good , the bad and the ugly. First the good: amazing service , super attentive , surprisingly, the chaufa de pescado is the reason to come here … mind blowing flavors and super fresh! The bad, the reason I came here was for the ceviche but both were super salty … the ugly: the ceviche was soooo salty that I didn’t finish it but it looked beautiful.. I felt so bad leaving it there. Ironic that I came for the ceviche but stayed for the chaufa. I really hope it was just an off day for them because I’m coming back for the chaufa !

The food was delicious, but unfortunately, we found a hair in our fried calamari plate. While the staff apologized and offered a free chocolate cake as compensation, it dampened the overall experience.

This place was recommended by our hotel staff. It did not disappoint. I tried the classic ceviche which was absolutely refreshing, served with large-kernel corn and sweet potato. The sweet potato softened the impact of the lime in the dish and the corn provided a good balance to the texture in the ceviche. Staff was professional and knew their menu well. They served us even when we arrived 15 minutes before closing. Thank you!

First off I love food and cultural food is something I look forward to on our trips. We heard about this place and it was recommended to be an extremely nice and delicious place to eat a lot of the cultural food here. However I have to say that this place doesn’t hopefully represent anything to do with Peru and this was the worst place we have eaten here since we started our trip. The service was non existent, the food was either over cook or cut incorrectly and chewy, the valet told a man as we were leaving that they didn’t do valet and continued to watch his phone, the waiter made us change or 20 dollars bill multiple time because they had very slight rips on the bottom, overall I will never return to this restaurant and I hope this helps some of you avoid wasting your money here.
