After weeks of research on where to find the best quality seafood combined with exceptional service, we finally discovered Pescado — and what an outstanding choice it turned out to be!
You can immediately sense the professionalism and passion of the team. My girlfriend is severely allergic to all types of fish. Since I really wanted to dine there, we asked if they could accommodate her — and they absolutely did. This is what true hospitality looks like: thinking outside the box. They even created two customized amuse-bouches for her, which she loved.
The amuse for me was simply out of this world. I put my full trust in Manuel’s recommendations — he suggested the scorpion fish and, as a starter, the gambero gobbetto. Both dishes left me absolutely speechless — from presentation to the incredible balance of flavors. Even my girlfriend’s steak was perfectly cooked and full of flavor.
I’m extremely particular when it comes to hospitality, service, and food. As an experienced hospitality manager, I can confidently say that Pescado is a top-tier destination for anyone who values quality, service, and genuine care.
And honestly — if I were the owner and saw some of the unfair or overly harsh reviews out there, I’d stand up for my team too. You can tell this place is run straight from the heart.
Highly recommended, we’ll definitely be back!
Located in a more upscale and quiet neighborhood of Rome, Pescado is a gem of a restaurant. We were a party of 8, for dinner with 2 children and everyone enjoyed absolutely everything. The seafood was so fresh and of the highest quality, which one can view at the entrance to the knowledgeable waitstaff who give great recommendations without being pushy. We tasted almost all the pastas and enjoyed each one and the secondo of fish was deliciously prepared. The service was impeccable and so very kind to our kids who enjoyed the pasta with vongole (clams) and we were all treated extremely warmly by the whole restaurant.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.
Small intimate locale with limited seating makes this dining experience feel privileged. White linen service yet understated, it is welcoming and not overly pretentious, and the ambiance was comfortable.
Sharing the Tagliolino with Pink Shrimps and Crunchy Artichoke was a star, and whetting the appetite. Flavorful, well portioned, and visually impressive. For mains – we selected catches of the day – an incredible spaghetti combined with fresh lobster (chosen from the tank) followed by freshly-prepared Amberjack fish, transported us to the coast and sensations of eating on the pier. Succulent, sweet, fresh and savory. Big winners and well prepared.
Very good execution and although on the pricey side, it was worth the visit.
From the moment you step through its doors, you are greeted by an inviting ambiance that effortlessly blends modern elegance with a cozy, intimate atmosphere.
Soft lighting, tasteful decor, and a carefully curated playlist create a perfect setting for a memorable meal.
The star of the show at Pescado is undoubtedly the food.
Each dish is a testament to the chef’s expertise and passion for culinary excellence.
The menu is a harmonious blend of innovative creations and timeless classics, all prepared with the highest quality ingredients.
Our meal began with a starter of delicately fresh sea bream tartar &
perfectly crispy zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta, shrimp to die for in every bite. Presented on a bed of freshly made pesto.
The main course, Smoked pasta with sea bass and bottarga that paralyzed our senses from star to finish!!!! paired with a rich, Sauvignon Blanc wine from the Sudtirol-Alto Adige region.
The dessert, was the perfect end to a flawless dining experience.
However, exceptional food is only part of what makes Pescado stand out.
The staff’s dedication to providing top-notch service is evident in every interaction. From the warm welcome at the door to the attentive and knowledgeable waitstaff, every team member goes above and beyond to ensure a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.
They are well-versed in the menu, eager to offer recommendations, and attentive to every detail, making you feel truly valued as a guest.
In conclusion, Pescado is a shining example of culinary excellence, exceptional service, and a delightful ambiance. It’s a place where every meal feels like a special occasion, and every visit leaves you eagerly anticipating the next. Whether you’re celebrating a special event or simply indulging in a night out, pescado promises a dining experience that is nothing short of extraordinary.
