This is a solid 3.5 star restaurant taking the food into 100% consideration.
The service was great, our waitress was attentive. Refilling our water often, promptly removing plates and dishes. Excellent service, no complaints.
The food.
We had Parm. Oysters., they were OK. Not sizzling hot like I’ve had in other places. Flavor was okay.
Grilled Octopus, delicious! Very tender. Flavorful but the rest of the chorizo mix it came with felt super salty. We had 3 different empanadas but they were disappointing and lacking flavor.
Islandic Cod, felt like Trader Joe’s lobster bisque with a piece of fish thrown in it.
Seco de Carne and Lomo Saltado, they were just okay. Nothing great. One was very salty. On the plus side, the yuca fries were good and the rice was also good.
I cannot see myself coming back again but I am glad to have tried it. Overall, I felt like it lacked authenticity and the flavors were just not popping thru. Most of us could just taste salt as the main condiment.

First time here and I was impressed with Pesca. Great service, everyone was super friendly and attentive. The food was deliciously packed with real Peruvian flavors. I was glad to have huancaína served as a dip for my appetizers .
As an entree I had Seafood Parihuela which was perfect! And then I also tried the Cod, also a great choice.
I highly recommend Pesca! Can’t wait to go back

I don’t know why anyone would not think this isn’t the best restaurant locally. The food (which I consider foremost when dining out) is wonderful/fabulous consistently, the service is flawless. Some might say the ‘decor’ or ‘ambiance’ were less than the best, but for most normal people this place has a perfect balance of fancy and accessible, and so I say perfect.
A point of note: while this place has ‘buzz’ it is arranged so you can hear your table-mates.
If you don’t just love this place there is something wrong with you because it is just about perfect

Small bites perfect for date night. Best Peruvian food in the entire state.

Nicely curated restaurant with a large outdoor dining area. The menu is enticing but the food is very bland. The paella was tasteless and had very little seafood and chorizo. The walnut dressed salad was also bland. The cocktails and the service however is very good. We went on a Saturday night and the place was empty.

My review is based on takeout. Was in town and wanted to check this place out. The restaurant is very clean! It’s beautiful and the staff were very friendly.
I ordered the spicy pork and pineapple empanadas- I personally didn’t enjoy them. I didn’t find them spicy, and I did not see or taste any pineapple. They were cooked perfectly. Would definitely try another flavor next time.
Also ordered the Lomo Saltado – sauteed sliced beef, onions, peppers, fresh tomatoes, scallions, home fries, and white rice with choclo. I asked for the French fries to be separate, and they were kind enough to do so. They were so good! Not your average French fry. Definitely house made and really good flavor. The steak was delicious! Loved that they gave a side of juice to add to the fries and meat. The vegetables added a nice and fresh touch.
Would definitely love to come and eat in the restaurant.

Stopped in for a bite after an evening visit to Grace Farms. Friendly welcome although the place was 95% empty on a cold winter night. We both had the hearty Peruvian chicken soup, quite salty but good for a winter night. I had the salmon burger, and my husband had the beef burger, he liked his more than I liked mine. Prices are kind of high, but it is a wealthy community. The bread was delicious.

We went here for a late lunch after touring Glasshouse. The service was great, patio perfectly shaded and the dishes we ordered were yummy . We started with guacamole and plantain chips – portion was a bit small. Then two of us got flatiron steaks; I got the Parmesan-crusted cod which I think was the best dish on the table. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Top Quality Authentic Peruvian Food!
Super flavorful & cooked to perfection.
I love the savory flavors one gets with just one bite!
I highly recommend this Peruvian Restaurant.
Prices are super reasonable & not expensive at all.
People who are saying it’s expensive clearly don’t eat at high end restaurants because this is nothing compared to an Italian or French restaurant.
The staff here are super friendly.
When they’re under staffed the food may take a little while but I come here for amazing food served properly not fast.

Decided to take my parents out for their anniversary dinner here last night. Service is very good, waiter/waitress very attentive to our needs. Manager was also kind enough to guide my mother as to which foods to order since she does not consume dairy. Our appetizers were delicious, we ordered the Ceviche Pescera and the Fried Calamari. Both were excellent, Ceviche was extremely fresh and the calamari was very soft and not chewy. For the Main course, we ordered the Paella and Lomo Saltado. The Lomo was delicious, cooked to perfection and the meat was not tough. Paella was descent, nothing out of the world. For dessert, we ordered Churros. Unfortunately they were burnt on the outside and undercooked inside. Manager kindly took it off the bill. My father ordered coffee, tasted like Instant Coffee. My reason for the 4 star rating is because although the food & service was very good minus the dessert/coffee, for a Peruvian restaurant I find this place to be highly overpriced although it is located in New Canaan. And they also charged an “inflation fee” which took me by surprise. Overall, pleasant experience but I know other Peruvian restaurants that will do just as great and charge less.
