The Peruvian Brothers, Mario and Giuseppe Lanzone, are coming back to National Landing as the latest retail partner to Amazon’s second headquarters (HQ2) in Arlington, Virginia. Peruvian Brothers will occupy nearly 2,000 square feet, on South Eads Street between 14th and 15th Streets South as part of Metropolitan Park, the two-tower, 2.2 million-square-foot initial phase of HQ2 slated to include more than 67,000 square feet of ground-floor retail.

I absolutely loved the food at Peruvian Brothers. I most probably ate here everyday for a week. The ceviche was five stars with an excellent balance of flavor and with the perfect sea bass. The service was great and the place has a great vibe during the lunch time. I would 100% eat again when I am in Arlington again.

I went for lunch, and overall, the experience was okay. The beef empanadas were definitely the highlight—excellent crust, great flavor, and even the powdered sugar on top (which I was skeptical about) actually worked really well. The Peruvian chicken was also very good: super moist, well seasoned, and a solid execution overall.
On the other hand, the chicken empanadas weren’t great for me; I didn’t enjoy the flavor of the filling. The yellow rice was just okay—not bad, but not memorable either. The dessert, however, was very good and definitely one of the stronger parts of the meal.
Overall, it was a nice lunch, but based on what I ordered, it’s not a place I’d tell people to rush to. A decent meal, but nothing standout outside of the beef empanadas and dessert.

We love Peruvian food and the Peruvian Brothers do a very good job. Well presented and decent portions along with flavorful seasoning make the food very good. We ate the Pollo Saltado with Chicha Morado along with two servings of 1/4 chicken. Quinoa salads a soup rounded out our order. Super friendly staff was a real positive as well. Would recommended stopping for a meal or the quick lunchtime of empanadas- again excellent 5* for those! Will eat here again on our next visit to D.C.

I got the saltados w/ chicken (~18) and the chicharron sandwich (~12) with a side salad (~5). The sandwich was SO dry, but the many sauce options make up for it because they’re so good. The saltados fries & veggies were the best, but the rice itself was dry and unseasoned. Chicken was alright. It’s a decent choice if you’re around the area.

So yummy! This was an excellent option for our group of 11, and they were all high schoolers and usually picky eaters, and they loved it. Very tasty, and love their house hot sauce. Enjoyed the Steak Bowl, Flan, and Yuca fries.

This place is good enough that you should go out of your way to visit. I had the lomo saltado a la pobre the first time and it was so on point compared to what I had in Lima, I decided to come back for the ceviche. It was also amazing – highly suggest trying la leche de tigre (the leftover juice from the ceviche). It really had quite the amazing flavor. I had the frozen maracuya pisco sour both happy hours and they were delicious. But I also think that maracuya (passion fruit) should be as frequent a fruit flavor option as option as fresa (strawberry) so take that how you will.
Both evenings I came during happy hour and it was not nearly as busy as I would expect for the quality and price. If you’re in the area, come give them some love!

This Peruvian restaurant is a fantastic spot — easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had recently. The place has a cool, modern vibe with a stylish ambiance that makes it great for both casual meals and special outings.
The food is absolutely incredible. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, perfectly seasoned, and full of bold, authentic flavors. You can even see the chefs preparing the food, which not only adds to the experience but also shows how clean and transparent the kitchen operation is. It’s clear they take a lot of pride in what they do.
The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout, which made the meal even more enjoyable. If I had to mention one small thing, it’s that the chairs could be a bit more comfortable — but honestly, that’s a minor detail compared to how great everything else was.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for delicious Peruvian cuisine in a modern and inviting setting. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Amazing service. I came here to have lunch on my birthday and the staff made it extra especial. Kevin , Ingrid and Carlos went out of their way to make sure I had a nice bday lunch. I stopped by Peruvian Brothers at Amazon HQ2 and tried their Chicken Saltados—absolutely delicious! The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender, and seasoned with just the right amount of flavor. Such a cute spot with a great atmosphere! I really love the concept of the lifestyle bowls and the incorporation of Peruvian flavors — it’s creative and has so much potential. Unfortunately, the food didn’t match the vibe. Everything tasted like it had been reheated, and the chicharrón sandwich we ordered was very dry and lacked flavor. I truly hope they work on improving food quality because the idea behind this place is wonderful and it could be amazing.
