Portions are huge, service is professional, and many dishes are interesting. The vegetarian section is small and I was a bit disappointed since I had hoped to find papa a la huancaína, caldo verde, and a hole bunch of soups based on potatoes and/or corn and/or beans to choose from. I settled on Tallarin Verde with a side of Taci Tacu and liked it but I was missing bolder flavors and a spicy sauce.

The food is as elegant as it is nourishing. I thoroughly enjoyed the lunch special tallarin verde. The owner was very kind and I felt well taken care of here! The chicken was tender and surprisingly delicate. This restaurant is well worth your time!

Best ceviche in downtown! The fish is cut nice and thin, super fresh, and has just the right kick of spice. Perfect balance — especially with a cold beer! So good you’ll want to lick your fingers. Definitely a 10+ for me! ️

We had an amazing dining experience at Peru941 in downtown Sarasota! The food was absolutely delicious and authentic. We ordered the jalea and ceviche combination platter, pescado a lo macho, and lomo saltado — every single dish was full of authentic Peruvian flavor and cooked to perfection. The freshness of the seafood and the seasoning really stood out, making it feel like a true taste of Peru.

Kenji was absolutely wonderful. He Patiently, explained the menu items giving details of spices, Cooking methods and flavors.
Cancha corn nuts (from mountains) with green sauce are complimentary and FABULOUS!
Can’t remember the name of the appetizer , but it was enough that it ended up being my whole meal And the corn served on the plate is from the coast.A different flavor than the cancha.
I gotta say grilla, found it a little too sweet.Next time , i’m gonna do A nice glass of Malbec wine.

Right in downtown Sarasota. Lunch specials were good for the price. My group had grilled fish with white rice and salad and pesto pasta with steak. They came with soup as a side which we found tasty

So me and my girlfriend decided to take her mom and brother there a couple days ago for some delicious Peruvian food. We ordered ceviche and lomo. Tbh the taste its self was nothing impressive it was ok and the service we had is nothing to complain about as our waiter was very nice. However my main issue was we all got extremely sick from the ceviche! This place needs to work on being more sanitary as it nearly put us in the hospital! I know it was the ceviche as well because the only ones who got sick was me my girlfriend and her brother and the only one who didn’t get sick was her mother who was the only one who didn’t eat the ceviche. We all had to go to the urgent care first thing in the morning after all 3 of us were extremely ill all night and it was there where they confirmed with us we had been food poisoned! That means that kitchen does not handle their food safely in the back and I guarantee the kitchen is probably gross. Please if you plan to eat here please be aware of this and be careful! Already reporting this to the health department. We spent almost $200 to get food poisoned

Stopped in for a quick dinner here because I really wanted some lomo saltado. This place is next to some bars and other restaurants. Was pretty empty when we stopped in on Friday around 8pm which is a shame! The food was incredible and the staff were so friendly!!! Everything was fantastic – the lomo saltado was fresh off the grill, onions steak and tomato grilled to perfection. Lemonade was delicious, the fries just right. 10 stars if I could.

After two visits, I feel confident giving 5 stars. So far I’ve had the creamy chicken and a steak dish. Everything is so fresh and flavorful. The jalepeno sauce they bring out is incredible.
