Me and my husband was so excited to try this place, like overly excited we live out of town and really wanted some Indian food, we got there right when it opened at 5 not one other customer was in the restaurant and our waitress was so rude like we was such an inconvenience to her. She didn’t smile or ask how we was just kinda tossed the basket on the table. I’ve managed restaurants before and I would never have allowed one of my employees to make my customers feel so unwelcome that they leave. We felt so unwelcome we ended up not ordering food and just leaving very disappointed.

I didn’t like the Buffet (non-veg), chicken items in the buffet were not tasty (kabab, butter chicken, chickens in biriyani). Shrimp fry was very tasty.
In buffet, less fruits and desert option. But still a very high price (almost 18 USD).
Veg items are also available.
The mutton biriyani (not in the buffet) was average. Rice was not properly cooked. Quantity was average.

Super clean and bright restaurant, immediate friendly service. The food is absolutely fantastic , I’m not sure of the name of the appetizer but it was light and fresh with mint sauce. Lamb Vindaloo for entree and was not disappointed. We will return for sure. Delicious.

I got the chicken vindaloo, hot (the hot was actually HOT!!! and that means a lot from me.) Bullet Naan and Garlic Naan. The bread was fresh, the ingredients were fresh, they used real, fresh spices, and it makes the food pop. 100% will make it a point to eat here often. I also had my first Indian beer, Kingfisher. It was refreshing and a slight sweetness, and it went well with the heat from the Vindaloo.
Update:
A year later, I am still eating here regularly. The food is still amazing, if not better now. The staff has always been on top of things, and the price and portions are perfect in my opinion. Thank you for a great place to eat!

uncooked food and the rotis are roasted made a bill worth 142$ not at all satisfied with the food samosa chat is chana masala with samosa and chilli gobi is bitter but the waiter told as due to bell pepper it seems but the waitress was totally rude. And the we took the food which we paid for it and we were ready to pay up the bill as your words were obv rude but you guys started to give discount and remove the bill for the items which were not good and we dint even take the food which I reported and now you stated shame on us but you guys started looting the people with unhealthy food over money so we can say shame on you guys with the service you gave us and the way you spoke to us and as I mentioned about the food which we didnot like but the rest we ate and its our right to take the left over food to home as we paid and now everyone can see how disrepectful you guys are towards customers awesome god bless you

Why do I not visit this place more often?!
Words cannot describe how absolutely delicious the food here is.
Must try their Butter Chicken!!!!! And they have a mango and yogurt drink that is the perfect ending.
We will make it our goal to visit at least once a month. We don’t eat out much- but we certainly will for this place.

Usually a great restaurant but this time the service was below acceptable.
I was asked if I am ready to order, and said I need one more minute. 15 minutes later the owner sent the bus boy to take the order. A young kid that has no clue what are ther dishes and all he could say is “I do’no”.
The waiter forgot our drinks and it went on and on.
The whole experience got ruined for an owner who wanted to publish his costumers.

Extremely rude and dishonest owner. We only provided our feedback that portion size was small for the price. He was very defensive and argued with us saying things like you should have looked at the photos online before stopping there for dinner. Even after requesting him to end the conversation and let us have our food in peace he continued doing the same.
Please verify your check twice as they charged us 16.99 for bread basket with 3 naans while individual prices only added to 10.99. On asking for a justification on the price difference he argued again saying that was their prices and what do we want him to do. He refunded the difference later but the experience was very bitter.

Really enjoyed eating here while visiting Cookeville. The food was very good and I love Indian food. They even served papadam with the meal for free which is a bonus. I had the butter chicken with garlic naan and chai. I also tried their galub jamun which was a bit too sweet . The staff was very welcoming and attentive. The food came out very quickly. Definitely recommend this place if you are traveling through Cookeville.

Have been there multiple times. So of things are continuously good like samosas and halka noodles. But some of the regular food is very on and off. And their tea is bad. Do not make fresh tea, they just microwave it.
Recently I decided to order online, when I went to pick up my order they told me that my order was not put to prepare. They sort of blamed me saying that after putting the order you need to confirm if it went through. It took them 20-25 more minutes to prepare my order.
