Great food and experience, service can be improved a bit

We ordered Manchurian, Fried rice, Chicken Tikka and Chicken Biryani. Chicken pieces in biryani had a weird smell to it. All of the other dishes were really good.

I loved the Baklava and Gulab Jamun inside the food mart, its worth trying

I think the meal is great, and the sweet corn soup was particularly delicious. The biryani was excellent, and we tried a variety of other things. I was too busy eating to take pictures, but I must admit that I truly appreciated the service more than the food. The server was particularly helpful in tending to our needs.

The food was amazing. They have mild, medium and hot spicy levels. We chose hot for all our food. The sweet corn chicken soup was delicious and would just go there for another soup. The appetizer fish fry was really great. I usually won’t prefer eating seafood out but this was worth the try. Gobi 65 was great too. The chicken briyani and fried rice were tasty. The portion size was big and I did not expect the big portion. Had to pack it up with us. The service was good and the guy was friendly, caring and made sure he understood what we expected in the taste. Overall worth trying it here when you visit Panama city beach, Florida

* uses frozen store bought naan (instead of making it fresh like an actual restaurant)

* ZERO serving spoons with the curries (use your hands I guess?)

* located in a SKETCH area INSIDE a grocery store

* owner and chef UNAVAILABLE if you ask for them (g r e a t)

The ONLY positive was the server who was kind enough to actually try getting in contact with the owner (but couldn’t LMAO)

We came in with a group of eight, service was wonderful! We ordered a bunch of different things; it was all delicious and came out very quickly! Server was knowledgeable, efficient, and kind! As someone with a gluten allergy, it was really nice to have so many options! Will definitely be returning!

As a frequent visitor and Google Local Guide, I’m thrilled to share my experiences at Persis Biryani Indian Grill in Panama City, Florida. Tucked inside an Indian grocery store, this gem might be modest in size, but it’s big on cleanliness and charm. The staff here are consistently welcoming and efficient, making every visit a delight.

The menu is a paradise for both meat and vegetarian lovers. Their Biryani is a flavorful journey, the Curry is rich and satisfying, and the Samosas are perfectly crispy. The fried whole fish, Chicken 65, and Chili Fish never disappoint with their tantalizing flavors.

Recently, they’ve expanded their vegetarian offerings, much to my delight as a tofu aficionado. The variety in their tofu dishes is impressive, offering nine distinct flavors. I tried the Kadai Tofu with naan and rice this time, and it was a revelation – perfectly spiced and incredibly satisfying.

Growing up with tofu, I have a particular fondness for it, and Persis Biryani Indian Grill has truly exceeded my expectations in this regard. Whether you’re a meat lover, vegetarian, or tofu enthusiast like myself, this restaurant is a must-visit for authentic and delicious Indian cuisine in Panama City.

Amazing food, loved all their dishes. Especially enjoyed their mushroom pepper fry, very authentically made. The restaurant is next to the indian store, which is an added advantage if you want to shop around while your order is being prepared. Panama city is lucky to have this restaurant.
