If you are looking for a good, basic, burger…this is the place. The fries were very good and the owner was very nice. The owner was friendly and talked to us while he cooked our food. We went here specifically to support a local business owner who is being given bad food reviews because of his political beliefs. Equal rights and free speech is for everyone, not just those you agree with.

I live on Vashon and I have only eaten here twice because I don’t find the food to be very good. I wasn’t going to write a review about it that, but when I heard how some folks who are working on our house were treated here, I had to say something. They were yelled at and made to feel so uncomfortable, they left without food even though they’d already paid.
This is not a business that serves everybody with dignity. There are other businesses that serve better food and are respectful to all their customers. Support them instead.

I’ve been getting burgers from perry’s burgers since it has opened. I have to stop every time I come to vashon. The food is amazing. I really enjoy the food. Looks like most of all the bad reviews are more about his stand on his political stand then the food which is so unfair to leave a review on that’s instead of the food. Thanks for the great food. Will always have a customer in me.

The only thing wrong with my burger was that I didn’t order a second one! IT WAS SO GOOD! Flavorful and not too salty, it was full of fixin’s but not too sloppy to eat in the car. Onion rings were perfect. You know when you get onion rings and you bite into then and all the slimy onion pulls out and it slaps you in the chin? Yeah, these don’t do that! They weren’t oily or greasy. They were fried perfectly! The place is small inside, but you’re not eating the restaurant, so don’t worry about it. The lovely lady at the counter was friendly and just SO very nice. I never get to come out to the island much anymore, but I know I’m going to make a point of stopping by at Perry’s any time I can!

Actions have consequences, as does freedom of speech and beliefs — especially when said beliefs are plastered literally on the front of one’s establishment. As a political moderate and US Army veteran, Trump’s policies, ideology and hateful rhetoric are the antithesis of my own beliefs. You lost a customer as I was about to walk in… you chose to throw up pro Trump stuff all over your business and those decisions have consequences.

i’ve gone here since i was a little girl and it never disappoints! he’s been making his delicious food the same way for years and every time i go on island it’s my first stop. lots of people complain of the trump merch and of the owners options, however if you’re level headed you’ll be able to look past differing options and be able to enjoy a great meal and have a friendly conversation with the owner.

It’s ironic how businesses can display almost any political flag except conservative ones without drawing any criticism. I imagine the owner eventually stopped trying to win over those who disliked him and leaned into the villain role they unfairly casted him in. Not surprising, given that Vashon is one of the most liberal towns in the country. The burgers were great, though slightly overpriced.

Most disappointing money I spent on the island. Visiting a week for work and wanted to grab a bite out, guess I picked wrong. The food cost more than double what was listed on its prices. Was hoping to take a seat and relax with my food, but it seems the owner decided to sell all of his chairs and tables to buy extra Trump merch instead. If you’re hoping to listen to some music and tune out while waiting an extraordinary amount of time for your overpriced food, too bad, it’s just Trump rallies over the speakers. At the end of it I got handed a 10 dollar burger smaller than a McDonald’s burger and burnt. The only thing generous was the amount of fries, but with how little they were seasoned it might as well have been saltine crackers.
