We visited for an early dinner on a frigid day, and were met with warmth from both the establishment and the team there! They are BYOB right now, so while my friends popped over to the adjacent wine store to pick a bottle, Brian sat with me at our table and explained all the dishes! I really appreciated the guidance and recommendations he provided. We loved every dish that we ordered, especially the salad and the baleada. The chicken in each dish was SO juicy, and we found the flavors truly unique and divine. I recommend finishing with an espresso, the coffee had such depth of flavor and a real story to tell on the palate. Overall an incredible meal with warm, inviting service from every member of the team, and we can’t wait to come back!

Everything about this place was amazing. Some of the best food I have ever had! There was a wrap (can’t remember the name) that was almost like fusion between a gyro and a burrito. With fries inside. Garlic sauce and hot sauce on the side. Hands down one of the best things I have EVER eaten. The melon salad was also amazing so unique and refreshing ! Drinks were great and service as well. I will be back and I live in Canada.

Popped in here for lunch and loved it. Brian, the owner, was lovely and a great hang. We particularly loved the lentil soup with pork, taco arabe, and hibiscus drink. Will be back!

We enjoyed Perquin very much. It’s definitely a great spot to come for a delicious craft cocktail (highly recommend the pisco sour) and a delicious tapas bite. The menu is pretty limited for a proper dinner spot but they have rotating specials you can view on their Instagram. I also really enjoy their outdoor seating on a beautiful day. Overall, this is a great option for a tapa and drink.

Probably one of the hottest spots in Jersey City.
This is hands down some of the best food I had in this town.
The portions are generous and the flavor of each dish left me excited for more.
Can’t forget the amazing staff here, constantly checking on you. Didn’t feel ignored once.
The menu is constantly rotating as they bring in fresh items, which means I’ll have to be back often.

I’ve been to Perquín multiple times now so I’m sharing a few photos from various experiences.
The atmosphere is always great and the staff makes it a wonderful experience every time.
The food is always AMAZING and the food and cocktail specials change so there’s always something new to try.
I’m a cocktail snob and their bartender, JP, Makes the absolute best cocktails and is very consistent!
Definitely one of my go-to restaurants. A must try for sure.

We are so mad that we haven’t tried this restaurant earlier!! The menu is inspired daily by fresh ingredients and you can 100% tell. I feel like it’s rare to come upon a restaurant that values genuine creativity and quality, this Perquin does it. I can feel the love and fun in this food in every bite, and the quality of ingredients are justified in every bite. We will be coming back for the happy hours they host during the week and look forward to enjoying more creative, fresh, and fun dishes.

Went here for lunch for the first time, and it was excellent! Truly exceeded expectations. Best restaurant in Paulus Hook hands down. Chicken was sooo moist and delicious. Would travel from Manhattan to eat here any time.

Perquin has been one of my favorite restaraunt experiences in years. Hands down the best chicken entree I’ve had in my life.
The staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful. They talked us through unfamiliar dishes with expertise.
The restaraunt itself is a great small spot with a large bar. Noise was reasonable despite its size, and everything was clean and welcoming.
Every dish we had was better than the last and resulted in us ordering almost the entire menu and everything was worth it.
The drinks were inventive and delicious. Recommend the pisco sour, but I enjoyed the raspberry daiquiri the most.
This was one of my first experiences with Honduran / Ecuadorian food and it will not be my last. My only hope is that other similar restaraunts we’ll be trying can keep up!

An absolute gem! The shrimp tacos were bursting with flavor, perfectly seasoned and fresh. The Margarita was spot-on—balanced and bold—and the Pisco Sour? Hands down the best I’ve ever had. Authentic South American vibes, amazing service, and unforgettable food. A must-visit!”
