In 1969 Charles and Wendy Pero opened the doors of their restaurant on Atlanta’s Northside. For 56 years Pero’s has been serving Buckhead community families and beyond with delicious pizza and pasta dishes. Pero’s has remained one of Atlanta’s favorite places to meet and eat. Charlie and son Billy, ever so gracious host, have made everyone feel welcome as each generation continues to dine at Pero’s. The popularity of our pizza has spread beyond our restaurant guest into neighboring schools as a favorite menu item for lunch, football games and festivals. Walked in out of curiosity and walked out with pizza. The ladies at the front desk were super helpful and nice. I needed help with the best choice of pizza to buy, and they helped. I ordered the PERO’S SPECIAL. I substituted the pepperoni and sausage for chicken and ground beef, and I was skeptical about my choice, but it turned out really great. The price was absolutely worth the pizza to me. Great atmosphere, very nice and cozy. Friendly service and delicious pizza. I will be back again

My mom and I hit up Pero’s Pizza & Pasta and it was honestly such a chill, solid experience. We ordered mussels with white wine, a Greek salad, and a calzone — and everything hit the spot. The mussels were fresh and flavorful, the Greek salad had that perfect tang, and the calzone was massive in the best way. The price was a little high, but overall food quality was everything — totally worth it for the flavor and portion sizes.
But what really made it stand out was our server. I don’t want to sound rude, but she was a little older — and honestly, that made her even cooler. Super sweet, super professional, and just genuinely kind. We forgot her name (which I feel bad about), but she made the whole vibe feel warm and welcoming. We even got into some nice conversations with everyone, which doesn’t always happen at restaurants.
If you’re looking for a place that’s got good food and even better energy, Pero’s is it.

Decent food. We have seen this place as we went to the nearby Whole Foods. We finally made a trip out as the reviews have raved about this place. The food is good. I, however, would not make a special trip to come and eat here. If I am in the area and craving the food I would stop by. The pizza crust is solid but the flavor was missing something. The service was friendly and accommodating. Other notes: the sald and bread is a great compliment to the dishes and the ice cream is the go to dessert. We also ordered tiramisu was good but not sweet enough for my taste buds.

Charlie has been in business for over 40 years in this location. Absolutely amazing! He is such a nice man and has become a local figure in Buckhead. Their pizza and pasta is top notch. They also have wonderful salads

Pero’s is an absolute hidden gem that I’m thrilled to find!
Everything was delicious!
Chicken parm, lasagna and couple of pizzas were all delicious and homemade!
Rolls could have a bit more garlic sprinkled on top or a bit of Parmesan cheese but still good and fresh!
Blue cheese dressing was divine!

What a hidden gem! This restaurant is the perfect place for amazing food, a classic old school feel, really amazing service, date night and a history lesson all in one! While in town my best friend and I stopped in for lunch and we were taken back by the ambience and the smells of real food! I had the Stromboli and the house salad, which was very very good! The salad is not your basic house salad as you can see! If you are in the area, you must stop by, say hi to the owner and enjoy yourself!
