Permanent Vacation is a cool and creepy tropical destination located inside The Copper Rocket in Maitland. Our team acts as your travel agents as we serve you tropical flavors of both food and beverage, and surround you with exotica, oddities, fantastic lights and harrowing sounds to take you on a unique journey that never strays to far from the equator. We have seating room only in our small space to ensure that everyone’s itinerary is fulfilled to its highest and best use; therefore reservations are recommended (now on Open Table!). If you can’t book your flight ahead of time, stand by passengers can leave their information with our air host and enjoy food or drinks at The Copper Rocket until seats become available.

Awesome Tiki experience! Booked a couple of seats at the bar and was so well treated. The drinks are as good as they get. The food, especially the kabobs, was perfect! Awesome tiki bar newcomer (open a couple of years now) and one of the best tiki bar experiences in FLA. Hidden away (like a tiki bar should be) in Maitland’s Copper Rocket Pub, PV transports you back to the 50s/60s tiki era. Amazing authentic tiki bar vibe (complete with an awesome Halloween overlay, including Halloween-themed cocktails, on our last visit), excellent staff (from the very accommodating hostess Melanie to the amazing mixologist Felix to the incomparable server Alec), great pupu menu, and, of course, amazing tiki cocktails! Trader Sam’s (at Disney’s Polynesian Resort) and Ft. Lauderdale’s MAI-KAI (the godfather of tiki bars in FLA) deservedly get most of the tiki bar buzz in FLA, but Permanent Vacation needs to be added to your tiki bar bucket list!

Great place to enjoy Cocktails and enjoy the decor with some great service. The cocktail menu allows you to pick different flavors and levels of alcohol strength. You should reserve in advance if you don’t want to wait 30-60 minutes.

Permanent Vacation is absolutely a place I would like to stay on a permanent vacation! Whether you are fan of tiki or not, the place is fantastic! Drinks, bartenders, and the food is absolutely perfect!! Well done guys, well done!! Can’t wait till I visit again!! Aloha!!

Fantastic drinks, lovely atmosphere (including drink activations), and Happy Hour ended with a free shot to toast a dead man with.
Not only are the drinks amazing but the FOOD was phenominal. Marinated Filet Mignon with Pineapple rice, delicious pork and finishing it all off with some of the best Beignets I have had in a long time.
Definitely an everytime stop each time i’m in town now!
