We enjoyed a nice evening at this rather small restaurant with a bar. A large outdoor seating area was closed and is probably open during the cooler winter season. Our server was friendly and attentive. The dishes we ordered all tasted good. The passion fruit sorbets were on the house bc we were celebrating a birthday.

Perl is a solid spot, but nothing too wild. The food was good, but not the kind that blows your mind. The customer service, though, was great—friendly with a fun, silly vibe that made the experience enjoyable. The sleek, modern interior gives the place a nice touch. I went for Miami Spice, and it was definitely worth it with decent portion sizes and a good price point. Overall, it’s a nice place to check out, but don’t expect anything too extraordinary!

We were in the neighborhood and made reservations for lunch. Had a wonderful experience, sitting outside. Chelsea was so pleasant and accommodating. The Caesar salad with grilled chicken was absolutely delicious, my husband loved the fish tacos with Tostones. We enjoyed our meal with a bottle of sense. Thank you to the staff at PERL for such a lovely experience.

Perl Restaurant provided the perfect setting for our elegant anniversary dinner last September 2024. The artistic cuisine was exquisite, making every bite a true pleasure. A memorable experience we highly recommend!

Honestly, what is not to love about this place? It’s a neighborhood restaurant owned by a world class chef. His staff actually cares about service, which is so refreshing here in SFL. The food was immaculate. BTW – the chicken will be the best you’ve ever had. Great wine selection, as well.

Food and fun
The food was spectacular I had salmon with asparagus my drink was a whiskey cocktail the drink was okay we also had the roasted chicken dinner. My server was Franco he was not a pleasant server he neglected our table last night he never came to clean the used dishware off our table without us having to ask. He rarely checked on what we needed in other words, he was not attentive to our needs and we felt very uncomfortable and unwelcomed . For us to come to your establishment and spend around $200 dollars and leave feeling very unappreciated. Everything else about your establishment was very nice and I will return but hopefully we won’t be serviced by Mr Franco who gets the rating of a 2 for extremely poor service and no friendlyness with our service Thank you

This was a great experience from start to finish. Great accommodations as soon as you walk in the door, the professionalism by everyone and most definitely the food. Not one complaint. Very happy to have found such a great place in the area.
All flavors were memorable and our server did an amazing job with recommendations and making my whole family feel comfortable.

Recommended.

The food: everything we ordered was very good.
We had the grilled heart of palms and the kampachi market as appetizers. Both were a recommendation from the waiter and it was a good choice. We had the PERL cheeseburger and the PERL baby gem Caesar salad (this salad looked very average but tasted incredible) to share and it was more than enough, although if you are a big eater it might not be enough. We also ordered the local red snapper which was very good too.

The place: we sat outdoors and the waiter offer a high chair for our baby, which was nice.
Only thing why I don’t give 5 stars is because it’s our first time and I usually give 5 stars after coming several times to a place, plus there wasn’t changing table in the bathroom (always nice to find these at restaurants for family.) Other than that, waiter was nice and efficient and food was very good.

Nice place and unexpected gem.

The food was very tasty, well prepared and well presented.

The only exception to that was the heart of plums was too hard to eat, but was replaced.

The salmon was delicious, and the tuna tartare was very well prepared. Service was OK.

Overall we had a nice experience recommended to check out.

Honestly the Best Burger I’ve Ever Tried

I’ve eaten great burgers in many places — Polo Club, 4 Charles, even Minetta Tavern in New York. All of them are good, but the cheeseburger at PERL is on another level.

From the first bite, you can feel the difference. The meat is super juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked exactly right. The cheese melts perfectly on top, giving the burger an amazing flavor without being too heavy. And the bun is soft but strong enough so the whole burger stays together — something very important for me.

Everything in this burger is done with intention and care. It’s simple, but perfect. After trying PERL’s cheeseburger, all the other famous burgers feel overrated. This one really changed the game for me.

If you think you’ve already had the best burger, try the one at PERL. You will understand what I mean.
