O! M! G! The prime rib was out of this world and the sirloin was good, too. We stopped as we were just passing by but will make the (almost) 2 hour trip back for more steak. The server was on point, friendly and very knowledgeable about the selections.

Great steak cooked perfectly! Small town diner atmosphere with great service! Ribs were so tender and seasoned perfectly! We will be back to try the seafood side of the menu. We absolutely got our money worth and more!

Good local spot for a good quality down-home dinner meal. The Country Style Pork Ribs are boneless with a delicious sauce that tastes like a tomato & brown sugar base that is sufficiently thick to stick to your ribs when you eat their ribs. The meat was tender, with a nice char, and succulent. The serving size was quite generous, allowing for some leftovers for lunch.
The Grilled Chicken w/ baked potato and green beans was also a generous split chicken breast, well seasoned and cooked thoroughly while still being moist and tender. The green beans and baked potato also tasted good and were well prepared. For being remotely located and an unassuming building, this is a right busy little place. Thankfully, it has more seating inside than it appears, outside.

Been passing by this place and it’s always packed. Never had time to stop but finally made time. Really cool place that was packed when we got there. It has a lot of character and a big bar across the middle of the restaurant. Interesting stuffed wildlife here as well. Had to wait about 20 minutes but it was worth it. Great service and food. Had the chicken and scallops, prime rib and ribeye. Bread comes with the meal as well as a salad and 2 sides. The steak was seasoned very well and huge. The chicken had a lemon pepper like seasoning on them as did the scallops. The prime rib, which I hadn’t had in a long time, was very tasty and not overly fatty. Mashed potatoes and green beans were pretty good as well. We had some onion petals as an app. My wife loves onion rings so if they are on the menu we usually try them. They were pretty good and not greasy which can be a big turn off. I would definitely come here again but I would opt for the steak over the chicken. Check them out

It is always a treat to eat here. The food is absolutely delicious. Our server was a lot of fun and very attentive. I have a pretty hearty appetite and I still have leftovers that I will have for dinner tonight. Get the Crawfish appetizer and dip that chewy bread into it. Absolutely divine.

Celebrated our anniversary by reserving a table on a Thursday night. So glad we did! Jennifer was our waitress and she was stunning. I had the seafood platter, more than enough food for one person. He had the cowboy cut pork chops and we both very much enjoyed our meal. I also sipped on a margarita and it packed a punch! It can get very loud, it’s a small restaurant and the walls are lined with license plates. Dress and atmosphere are casual. I would not recommend getting the burrito style cheesecake dessert to go, eat it at the restaurant.

I’m in town for just a night for a local competition.
I was looking for a place to get a steak and a beer. Well I found the perfect place. Close to the hotel and they well exceeded my expectations. Perky’s is a local “hole in the wall” outside of the main town but on the main highway. It’s pretty small with a crusher run parking lot. I walked in and the place was hopping! They take reservation but they had one spot at the bar which I gladly took. Friendly folks greating me at the door. I didn’t need a ball cap but dang if Gracy didn’t sell me a ball cap. Taylor was my waitress and made sure I stayed hydrated and food was delivered hot and accurate. The medium rare ribeye was seasoned and cooked perfect. ALL of the staff work their backsides off! Y’all didn’t just serve me a meal but gave me an experience. I had the ribeye, bake potato, baked beans, a side of crawdads and pecan pie. If you’re ever in the area, you’ll be glad you stopped. If you’re looking for hoity-toity, go back to the big city. If you’re looking for “salt of the earth” folks this is the spot.

You will not be disappointed. I would have a hard time describing how satisfied I was during my visit to Perky’s. There is a wide variety of entree selections although if you’re a carnivore like me the steaks here are to die for. The meat is juicy, tastes clean and is not overly seasoned. You also have a good selection of sides but I really loved their slaw. Perky’s is a must for any family or couple.
