This place is very nice. Coffee is good too. No place like it in town. The food smells great. Im more of a carnivore, so I haven’t tried it. I love how it looks inside. I really love how it feels! Side note: I’ve never had any stranger pay for my order, until I visited this shop. (You must have cash for orders less than $10.) What a sweet thing!

The outside doesn’t give this little local gem justice. Cute, homey place with great coffee. We didn’t have any food but the coffee options were on point. They offer lunch and sweet treats as well as coffee. The girl who checked us out and made our drinks was super friendly. Just a 4 min. drive from historic downtown it is worth the drive on the way in or out. The bathroom was clean and large. Lots of table seating inside and a couch towards the back. Plenty of parking too. I appreciate that they provided wonderful service even though they were open on a day when others were closed for the holiday. We called ahead to make sure since many other businesses’ didn’t update their hours. This pregnant mama was very happy to have her iced coffee in this July heat.

Came here with a friend for lunch and first time visiting. Cute and cozy inside with amazing staff. Prices were fairly reasonable and great drink selection. Food menu had way more options then I had expected. I tried the asian salmon bowl and it really surprised at how good it was! Salmon was cooked perfectly and was on top of rice, sauteed veggies (carrots, broccoli & cauliflower) with a delicious Asian dressing. I would definitely recommend and will be back soon!

The mocha was great, service was kind and fast for a busy little cafe, and the turkey cranberry sandwich was satisfying in a way that was both good quality and unique in the flavor. The exact reason you go local over a chain. Don’t let the strip mall facade turn you off, once you walk in it’s a legit cafe and the kinda place you’d want to go to catch up with friends or work.

A beautiful hidden gem! Great coffee, fantastic food, reasonable prices, and lovely atmosphere. My partner and I very much enjoyed camping out in the corner with our coffee and food on our laptops to work for a couple of days. Probably our favorite place in Monroe that we will definitely return to next time we’re in town.

Asian salmon with rice and veggies were very tasty. Quality over quantity. It takes a little longer but it’s worth it if you have the time to spare.
I took my Dad out for lunch and we were able to sit back and enjoy our coffee and talk while we waited for our food. It is a very relaxing atmosphere.

So we thought Pancho and Lefty‘s was the only really great restaurant in town. We were wrong. Perks Coffee Café, despite its unprepossessing exterior, was just unbelievably good. It was a very pleasant physical space, had really nice employees, and we had a couple of extraordinarily good and creative sandwiches.

This is my and my mom’s go to lunch spot when I am in town for the weekend. We have been going here since it opened and it is still just as good. The sandwiches are to die for and even though I live 8+hours away now I still crave them on a weekly basis. Their coffee is good and espresso skills are on point!!! Wish I could eat here daily!

Wonderful and friendly service! Sooo many good food items to choose from! I had the ham and artichoke panini and it was INCREDIBLE. Best sandwich I’ve had in ages. If you need a good lunch this is the PLACE! Many drinks options too but I just had a plain latte 🙂 will definitely be back!

The atmosphere here is pleasant. There are couches and tables to sit at. It’s a comfortable place to be. I got a cafe Soleil and the espresso was a little harsh but still good. I would have liked it better if the music was a little more hip to whatever the baristas wanted to listen to buy overall positive experience. I wish they were open past 3.
