A small town diner. A decent spot to have breakfast if you’re not up to cooking at home. Nothing special so you get your money’s worth at the least. I had a standard homestyle breakfast. Country potatoes were bland and missing the crispy-ness expected from a country potatoes. Eggs and Bacon were standard. The french toast was disappointing. French toast was not soaked but simply dipped in the egg mixture so all flavor is lost after the first bite. Similarly to eating a warm and soft slice of bread with the suttle flavor of french toast. Coffee was bold but smooth and the staff was attentive but lackluster in their enthusiasm. Overall this type of diner could only have success in small town. Their prices are similar to that of Denny’s but the food does seem “farm fresh”. I advise the cooks have a bit more heart when preparing dishes.

Waitress brought me the wrong food. I thought maybe she was busy since she wasn’t so friendly or attentive. Got up about five times. She never brought us water, napkins, more coffee, or my food. She brought me my check before I got my remade order. Instead of arguing I just told her to take it back and she rolled her eyes telling me I should order it the right way when I did. Then proceeded to talk to someone who was “in charge” about me but was not the manager. The manager said it was a misunderstanding but no it was not. So rude. An hour with no food and attitude is crazy.

I just had an amazing breakfast experience, the service was very fast and attentive! The coffee was very good and the places looked very clean! Once we received our breakfast I realized everything was cooked just the way we requested! Truly happy with my experience, I will come back!

haven’t had gone to perko’s in awhile due to the rude staff each time i go. and i recently just went after a couple years and it’s still the same way. when my husband and i walked in the host lady was rude didn’t welcome us or anything. we sat down for over 30 minutes without someone taking our order when it was not busy at all if waitresses can sit around and talk in the back. also once our waitress took our order as soon as she brought our food out she handed us the bill at the same time. i felt rushed like if she was in a rush and wanted to leave. never going here again with rude ladies when your food wasn’t good never again.

Amazing place. We’ve been here with our friends. We had huge portions, very delicious meals, wonderful atmosphere, and perfect service. Portions were so big that we took half of our lunch with us when we left Cafe, and it was not expensive at all. Strawberry lemonade is the best. We come here for sure next time and will recommend to all our friends who go to Sequoia National Park. Thank you for terrific feeling of traditional American restaurant!
