Comparable to Denys but more of a preferred option. Was actually pretty satisfied. The food came out fast, though not very hot. Tasted good and felt full. The staff was very friendly, he made some awesome jokes and poked fun. And even though our server was quite busy he was always on top of things. Definitely would’ve given 5/5 but they didn’t have soup anymore and it was only 830pm…

Our first visit this year, service was not so good. Took 20 minutes to place our order, our food took an hour. We were staying with family so we used the time to chit chat. One young man server had a huge half scab/half open wound on his right arm between his wrist and elbow. It would have been nice if it was bandaged so we wouldn’t have to inspect it when our plates came out. We went back a week later and service was still slow. Oh well more time to sit and talk I guess. Food was alright, staff was pleasant.

There were maybe 7 or 8 people inside besides ourselves. Waited for fifteen minutes before our server offered us drinks. Waited another 45 minutes to get our food which was slightly warm, at best. Server never came to check on us or offer refills. We looked for her to ask for the check but could not find her. When we walked up to the manager at the front desk to pay our bill, he acted indifferent and did not try to make it right or even offer an apology.

I’m only rating this one one star cause I can’t rate any lower. The meal I had was unbelievably bland. Not only was the food poor but the service was even worse. The waitress we had was so rude! She didn’t interact with us at all, didn’t ask us how our food was, didn’t refill our drinks when they were clearly empty, we had plans of ordering muffins to take with us but didn’t even give us a chance to order any, she slapped our bill on the table and walked away. When we paid our bill the woman asked us how our meal was and we voiced our concerns.her reply was, “oh, really”. Definitely never returning to this location!!

This has been our rest stop as have been passing through on our way to or from South Dakota for the last couple yrs food is good the coffee is hot and the servers are definitely trying, but things have slowed down here even when there is only four tables. Waitress seems to be running around like a chicken with their heads cutoff .seems to be short staffed regardless time we come in so getting your order or being on your way is a bit slow. Wish they would work on this , I like coming here , don’t want to have to find a better spot .

If you had a bad experience here previously, give them another chance. I have frequented this place throughout the years and have been very impressed with the improved and enthusiastic service, prompt food service as well the interior cleanliness. I used to come in there and dirty dishes were left all over tables, food on floor under tables, wait staff loitering and chatting rather than doing something constructive but that is no more. I applaud the people and their efforts for turning this place around to a much more pleasant experience that it should have been. I look forward to many more enjoyable visits at this location:)

My fiance and I stopped here for breakfast on way trip and we weren’t greeted, we ordered and people came in after us and ordered,received their orders. Mine came out and it wasn’t warm it tasted like it was sitting on the counter and my fiance said his was okay , I had to walk to the counter to bring to someone since our server wouldn’t make eye contact with us, I told the manager at the register, he went back and remade it took 20% off my meal and brought us the check ,our server never came back after we got our food. Our drinks never got refilled asked how our meals were. When I got my “fresh” food the server made eye contact and gave me a dirty look. Horrible customer service. If I could I would give it no Stars.

The baked goods are wonderful but my experience of the food is not great. My son had hashbrowns and they were burned. He also had an omelet with shrimp in it and there was a piece of shell still on the shrimp. My food was ok but the amount of fries I received was less than a small fry at a fast food place.

This place has good food in the early hours of the day. Don’t go looking for dinner here, or you WILL be disappointed, but the breakfast is great. This place is also VERY capable as a bakery. The pies you buy here are great for any occasion, and will be sure to please you. A good breakfast, lunch, or dinner can be had here (as long as you plan on eating breakfast for every meal). 4.5/5 stars.

Short staffed today maybe? Waited almost 5 minutes to be seated and I was the only one waiting. To make things worse they didn’t have any avacodoes either. The only reason I spotted in was for the avocado salad.
