Awesome establishment.
Paige took very good care of our food and drinks.
Super polite, courteous, and exemplary.

Food is good and reasonably priced. The staff is nice but overworked! They need to hire more staff to accommodate patrons, especially on Sunday mornings… They need to hire a hostess. We’ve walked out twice after waiting for extended times to be seated when there are open tables… Plus there is no one to pour you a second cup of coffee, even after requesting.

I go here way too much sometimes, but I love it there. There are a few waiters/waitresses there that are very slow (usually late at night) but there are also some that are fantastic. I always know how my service is going to be when I walk in the door. The food is always great, though, and always super cheap.

The service was extremely slow! The waitress did a fine job but it took about half an hour to get two breakfast entrees. On my meal the eggs were warm but my French toast was cold and the other breakfast entree was a waffle and that was cold also!

Compared to the Perkins in Fargo, this place is terrible. The food is mediocre at best, if you get something that matches the menu description, the place needs a thorough scrub of all tables and seats, and a face-lift. If they want to hire more staff, they need to improve the food! Why would anyone want to eat something that looks as terrible as they let leave the kitchen, sometimes cold, without realizing that standards should not be so low. Even their coffee creamer has gone bad. But don’t bother saying anything to a manager, you’ll only get excuses and a nonchalant “Oh OK.” is rather drive across town to a better place than be desperate enough to come back to the Moorhead Perkins.

We have gone here about 5 times in the last year. All have been mostly positive, with the only true issue being speed for the food/service. The food is good, and the price isn’t that crazy! Plus kids eat free everyday.

Great food, good service and a fair price. So why 3 stars?
PRO- This is Perkins and I know the menu.
I observed the manager training her staff and encouraging them. What a gem… sorry I missed her name, but she is a great manager.
Food was high quality, prepared well and served hot with good presentation.
Servers were new, but did a commendable job of keeping us well cared for. 25% tip….
CON- The place looked shabby. The woodwork was worn. The seats were worn with big tears repaired with tape. The carpet in the hall to the restrooms was dirty and worn. The men’s restroom was probably clean but the trash was overflowing. The fluorescent light was mostly burned out and flickering (like a 1950’s wharf bar movie). The sink counter was worn down and stained. The caulk around the urinal was aged, cracked and stained yellow. … yuck…. the used toilet plunger was down for the count, in the corner and needed to be tossed.
The dining experience was ruined because of a worn out dirty looking interior. It’s time for a complete refurbishment. I will probably skip this place next time. There are plenty of clean facilities in the neighborhood.
Sorry Perkins but you didn’t meet expectations.

Poor service over all! English muffin barely warm, never brought the syrup for the pancakes, did not ask if we would like more water and the people behind us got up and left because their food never came. We don’t come here often and now I remember why!

The waitress was very nice, but unfortunately the food took an hour and a half to get out to us, there were four of us and the restaurant was almost empty. I don’t know if there was no cook on shift or what happened…. We didn’t get out of there until 9:30pm and I still had a three and a half hour drive to get home.
