We absolutely love this place. My kids love to eat here and it’s always dependable as far as you know what you’re getting when you order. My only complaints are the prices, it seems to be pricey for burgers, pancakes and coffee. However, it’s good food and that’s worth something! Don’t go on Wednesday, it’s senior day and you will wait forever. Tuesdays are kids eat free. The restrooms here are gross, they are in bad shape, they often smell and are in need of an all over upgrade. The wait staff is always nice, they often remember us, there isn’t a lot of turnover, the day staff has been there for years. The pies are reasonably priced, I often bring a whole one home and the kids love the claw machine.

Pleasant meal. I had 55+ Eggs Benedict, and my partner had the pot roast. We split a slice of wildberry pie. It was all quite good. Friendly people. Clean and stocked restrooms and wheelchair parking.

We were in town Feb 14th for Sing Aroond Nebraska program, which also happened to be district wrestling and other things on top of Valentines Day. After our program was over we went to Perkins when we walked in there was 5 parties ahead of us waiting to be seated. You could tell they were short on waiters/waitresses as they were doing their best to seat but not over run their wait staff or kitchen. Our wait was a little longer but the manager was handling it with such a kind and welcoming very patient voice. We got seated and 1000% was worth the wait if for nothing else out waiter Rowden S. He was absolutely running his tail off but you would have never known it. It was my husband our 3 kids and myself and he was ever so patient with our order, came back to check on things never once showed any sign of stress, frustration! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we well taken care of. Thank you Rowden for doing such an amazing job on a crazy night, you helped make our night out a GREAT experience. Great service between Rowden and the manager!

Staff was acceptable and did their job. Our specific waitress wasn’t overly friendly nor smiling, but she was polite and prompt and efficient. Prices are higher than the amount of food you get and quality at other sit down restaurants. Atmosphere was decent.

I ordered the Big Country Skillet specifically because it said it was served over “smashed tots.” Unfortunately and disappointingly, they were not, in fact, smashed whatsoever (check the pic). That sounds like a trivial and silly thing to complain about… unless you dragged your hungover self out of bed on a Sunday morning, threw on some dirty clothes from the hamper, fought all the church people who seem to love Sunday mornings for some reason?, and drove to Perkins specifically FOR that smashed tot skillet meal thingy. ♂️ #bummerlife
My girlfriend also had some paper in her hashbrown plate. But whatevs… my tots weren’t smashed.
We did mention the paper in food thing to our waitress, and she wrote “10%” on our receipt. Not sure what that meant? But she was nice.

Had a large group of 13 on a Sunday morning. Very little wait time and when we realized we had undercounted, they threw together another table and high chair. Waitress was very cheerful and helpful. Did came out fast and everyone was greatly satisfied.
