Worst experience ever. Poor customer service, poor quality food, nothing available on the menu and waited over 30+ minutes for someone to serve us and only 3 tables including us in the whole place. Steak tasted as if it was freezer burned and horrible. Will never go back. Should be shut down. Workers need to have respect and assist the customer the way they would wanna be treated and not with an attitude!

We sat down and had to request to be waited on after 15 minutes. It was about 7pm and not busy at all so a little frustrated to start. Once we were waited on, waitress was super nice and friendly. Food came out and Husbands breakfast food was great, omelet and hash browns. However, I received a non edible steak because it was so rare so it got sent back. They returned with a new steak about 10 minutes later and it was the same. And they returned my plate without the half of the sides that went back with it. They did make it right with the bill so service was good but wouldn’t go back for the food.

We had a great experience on a snowy night when most places were closed. Our server Angela was fantastic and on top of everything. The cook Jen did an excellent job with everything and did our special requests with no complaints. Thanks for a great supper!

My husband, mom and I came into Perkins tonight, and we had the best service in a long time, my husband and I came from Idaho and were excited to see a Perkins. We came on the right night, FREE PIE! Our serve Kelsey was amazing and super friendly, we had a nice conversation with her, we witnessed her with her other tables, shes overall amazing. Shes the true definition of customer service.

Went to this Perkins this evening as it was most convenient for my evening plans. There was only 8 cars in the parking lot so thought we could get in and eat quick and be out, this wasn’t the case. We heard the cook holler “front” a couple times in the 5-7 minutes we waited to be seated. Once we were finally taken to a table we had our meals picked out and were ready to order but had to wait 10 minutes for our water even. Then when I asked if I could order the hostess snarked at me that “Jade” would be along to take my order. At that point chose to leave this establishment. Never ordered food, did not trust the handling of it and went to Austin to eat at Kenny’s Oak Grill where we were served our food in the time it took to get acknowledged at the Albert Lea Perkins. What a joke. How do you have more than 2 stars? Service was absolutely trash. Do not recommend.

I ordered steak and eggs and got chicken fried steak. They took it back then return quickly with the eggs, potatoes and toast. I had to wait 10 minutes for the steak. Pointless. The toast had one little dab of butter on it. The waitress brought us the wrong check and didnt return with a takeout container as we requested. I had to go to the checkout to get the to go box. The table next to us were swearing alot. A table with young kids sat 5′ feet away. I thought this was a family restaurant. We won’t return any time soon. The coffee was good. They did discount some for the late steak.

Stopped in albert lea, mn at about 1030 on a Saturday morning and it wasnt very busy. Wait time to be seated was ok and were promptly served our beverages. Then we were literally ignored. Left after about 30 minutes and went elsewhere

From someone who works in the food service industry, This is by far the worst experience I have ever had in any restaurant. Took 6 minutes for them to notice we were waiting at the counter with the cook calling them to the front, another 10 for them to even ask for drinks. We were ready to order when the hostess/server came to ask for drinks. Her attitude was horrendous and told us we had to wait for another server to order food. The atmosphere was negative from the start. I honestly didn’t trust them enough to even order food. I left before eating. I don’t understand how this place has 4.2 stars. It is definitely not because of the staff there today.
