In 1958, a humble pancake house was born. Through the years, we’ve stayed true to our breakfast roots while welcoming American classics and homestyle plates.

Food is ok. My daughter got an appetizer for her meal. The mozzarella sticks were cold. Just not great the chicken was good and hot. But the PIE i got the banana cream …..omg best thing in the facility. No doubt they have the best desserts

Madison was super quick and made sure we had everything we needed. We are traveling from northern Indiana for the kiddos competition and we were starving and on a time crunch. Also this was our first Perkins visit and it did not disappoint!

Perkins never disappoints when it comes to breakfast food. The pancakes are outstanding. The muffins are terrific. The lunch and dinner foods are good, but not memorable. It always seems to be busy, but the service is typically friendly and prompt. I can’t leave the place without getting something sweet to take home. Our family seeks Perkins out over IHOP or any other pancake restaurant. We plan to continue to be loyal patrons.

Decent food and wait staff was not bad, despite just having a Sunday rush. Someone other than our waitress cashed us out and we added on carrot cake and strawberry pie to go, which was an additional $15. We got home to find a cinnamon roll and no more than 2 tablespoons of pie, unbelievable! Of course the staff ran off after she gave us our dessert and no receipt.

Perkins hit the spot—great food, friendly vibes, and options for everyone (even us vegetarians)!
My husband and I stopped by Perkins on a whim, and we’re so glad we did! We went around 1pm and it wasn’t very crowded, which made for a relaxed, comfortable visit. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, making us feel right at home.
The menu is impressive, with plenty of choices for every taste. As a vegetarian, I really appreciated the breakfast options that didn’t include meat—it’s nice to have delicious choices without having to ask for something to be removed. Our meals were fresh, flavorful, and served quickly.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere—we’ll definitely be coming back!

My first experience here was fine. Partly because I didn’t order an omelette. I ordered one on the second visit and it was terrible. The first picture is from Perkins. As you can see, the omelette is paper thin and is loaded with ingredients including whole slices of half cooked bacon. The 2nd picture is a real omelette from a different restaurant. The eggs are supposed to be much more than the add-ins. The Perkins omelette was not what I expected, almost like it was made with a single egg and a full cup on ingredients with a sprinkle of cheese on top. This was really disappointing.

I’ve been going to the Perkins in Anderson for nearly 35 years. This restaurant never leaves you wanting or broke. We would be generally traveling with 2-5, own and foster, teens. Talk about putting on the “feed bag”. But it was great everytime!
