I ordered the hibachi fried chicken with a side of fries and sweet tea. The food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and the restaurant was very clean. However, at this price point, I would expect a choice of a bread item—like a biscuit, roll, or garlic bread—to be included.
The portions also felt a bit skimpy for the cost. Still, the flavor was excellent, and I really enjoyed the meal. The server was attentive and friendly, which made the experience even better. Overall, great food and service, but the portion size and value could use some improvement.

The pictures I took look great as iphones have great cameras….however, the food is quite bland and the meatloaf tastes like it came from a nursing home (according to my boyfriend as that’s what he ordered). Our waitress and service was great, it’s just the quality of food is very poor. Whoever is in charge of the finances and ordering items clearly does not care about quality and orders off-brand instant potato flakes instead of REAL Home-made mashed potatoes or even just a BRAND NAME box like Idahoan would be nice. I recommend just mix fresh with instant, go 50/50. Do SOMETHING to improve the quality and taste. Most of the dinner meals include mashed potatoes so that’s one item you can invest better in. Or bring back baked potatoes. You know mineral salts enhance flavor making people enjoy it more without realizing it and it’s another cheap solution (better than table salt). Too bad those fresh strawberry pies are “out-of-season” and non-existent to purchase or we would have bought a whole one. My boyfriend said in the 80-90s when he would walk in it smelled like fresh pancake batter in the air (my mother agreed) and he missed that smell. My son said the bacon was dry crunchy, bland scambled eggs, didn’t like the potatoes, but he did like the gravy biscuit’s so that’s one thing he did like. I enjoyed my turkey with gravy, the canned green beans with bacon tasted alright (too bad it’s not fresh) but the mashed potatoes were too cheap instant to enjoy. I didn’t recieve stuffing with my plate you can see in the pictures it’s missing, but I didn’t say anything to the waitress. My daughter ordered the salmon for $17 and she had no complaints, enjoyed her meal. Our meals were $10-$12 each (except for the salmon meal). To be honest, we came here knowing the prices were cheaper and wanted to dine in without going to fast-food place. So the prices are fast food prices and we did eat all of our food without complaining to the waitress. Would we come here again? At first we all said no, absolutely not but now that it’s been a couple days and my boyfriend had me cook him a homemade meatloaf to make up for the terrible one here had here….I’d say we could come back if we’re desperate for cheap prices again but must be more cautious on what to order off the menu. Now if the mashed potatoes and green beans were actually fresh and the meatloaf taste better, the way it should, then yes I’d be giving great reviews and recommendations to family/friends. I just hope changes can be made to improve quality for future customers. Overall, the food was disappointing.

Seating was comfortable we had a party of 6. Our server was excellent she was friendly and attentive. The food was ok as far as portion price and temperature. It was a bit on the room temp side I had the fish and compared to other restaurants it was pretty small. So for that reason it was a bit pricey. The sweet tea had a funny taste. My son had the breakfast he said it was good.

I will start by saying I have a service dog. As soon as we walked in there were multiple people shouting to put us at table 90. We were put in the back corner and seemed proud of that. We were put in a closed section away from people. My mother pointed out the discrimination and they felt like they were doing us a favor.
While we weren’t ignored but he waitress we still were separated from normal diners.
We used to frequent this place with our dog before the remodel and we feel like not returning.
Our waitress didn’t listen when I told her no tomatoes on my salad and brought me fries dispute me substituting a salad because I can’t eat their fried food due to allergies. Although she did not charge me for them.
The food was good, coffee was amazing.
They dropped the check without asking if we wanted dessert which is weird. Took away our plates said have a nice day and ignored us when we discussed a piece of pie. No pie for me I guess.
Felt like they did not want us here.

The entire staff takes great pride and care in providing a great experience. While the restaurant gets busy, it runs like a well oiled machine. Wait times are low, food is made promptly, the staff is very professional, and care is taken to ensure over quality and cleanliness is maintained

Seriously just had the worst breakfast of my life. Asked for my eggs well done with cheese eggs came out slimy and not cooked. Asked for my hashbrown crispy/well done they came out so mushy and soft. As a server i dont usually send my good back but Asked them to throw it back on i didnt care how long it took. Food comes back out not even 2 minutes later worse than when I sent it back. Server realizes they weren’t done enough was going to go check to see if there were better hashbrowns in back back brings them out the top was kinda crispy but the whole inside was cold. Server never came back after she dropped the other hashbrowns off we had to ask someone else for boxes and currently on our way back home so I can recook my own breakfast and get it crispy. Whole reason we went out was so I didnt have to cook and make a mess in my kitchen now im going home to cook all this food up and myself descent eggs. $50 for breakfast was not worth it

My family and I decided to try out Perkins Restaurant for a friday brunch. It was a lovely experience, and I wanted to share our thoughts on the food and the overall experience.
The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with a pleasant buzz of conversation.
Our kids ended up choosing a delightful mix of bread toast, pancakes, bacon, and fries. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, with a generous dollop of ice cream on top that the kids thoroughly enjoyed. The bacon was cooked to perfection, crispy and flavorful, while the fries were a nice, crispy accompaniment.
For my meal, I opted for the quesadilla and waffle with ice cream on top, accompanied by bacon. The quesadilla was loaded with cheese, veggies, and chicken, making it a filling and scrumptious choice. The waffle was light and crispy, and the ice cream on top added a sweet, creamy touch that elevated the dish to new heights. The bacon, as mentioned earlier, was a fantastic side.
My spouse decided to go for something on the healthier side and ordered a salad with honey mustard dressing. The salad was fresh and colorful, with an array of crisp veggies and a generous serving of the tangy and sweet honey mustard dressing. It was a refreshing and satisfying choice.
Throughout the meal, the service was attentive and warm, ensuring our water glasses were always full and checking in on us periodically to make sure everything was to our satisfaction.
In conclusion, our brunch experience at Perkins Restaurant was a delightful one. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was comfortable and family-friendly, and the service was exceptional. We will undoubtedly be returning for more family brunches in the future and highly recommend it to others looking for a great meal in a relaxed environment.

Food is amazing at a good price. Gets kinda busy on sunday. If you like waffle house, I hop and Bob evens you will love this place. The food is great the service is fast and they have a bakery type section where you check out so you can grab some tasty sweets to take home. I suggest the country skillet. It is a bunch of breakfast meats and gravy piled on top of tater tots. It is amazing

We were seated and a waitress came & took our drink order, said our waitress will be with us shortly, we waited & waited, a waitress came finally, asked if we were ready, we said yes, she said ” you need more time, I’ll be back” & left. Another one finally came, we spent more time waiting, she forgot part of the order, when she finally brought it we were almost done with our meal. I inquired about the salad to go we ordered she said it was almost done. More waiting. When we got home this is what the salad looked like that they gave us (my daughter ate the strawberries), it was supposed to be a strawberry, walnut & grilled chicken salad with spinach greens. The chicken was barley cooked, definitely not grilled.
I have never had such bad service or poor quality food before. Definitely won’t be going back there again.
