Nice to find a Perkins on the road as a trucker. Food was good, reasonably priced, although the French silk pie slice was about the size of a postage stamp, lol. Good thing I got two. Steven’s service was excellent!

Outstanding in Every Way!!
I was on my way to Middle Tennessee during a very long trip to and from seeing my Mother after she broke her hip on the ice the week before. I was absolutely exhausted, frazzled and worried coming home and it was late when I Finally made myself pull over to fuel and eat. I basically staggered through the door. I was greeted so warmly by Kevin the manager Before I realized I was still in the EST time zone, very close to closing time. I noted the time and asked if they were still serving. Kevin said Most certainly and not to worry about it they’d be closing but I’d have plenty of time. He seated me with Jennifer. She was absolutely lovely as well she was kind and also let me know Not to rush. The other server whose name I didn’t get brought me my drink while Jennifer placed my order and was just as kind.
My food came quickly it was exactly correct and it was hot and delicious. And I even had a quick piece of the French Silk Chocolate Pie. I was able to have a wonderful meal and get back on road home thanks to the outstanding hospitality and service of Kevin, Jennifer and clearly efforts the entire staff. Thank Y’all So Much!

We drive from 40 minutes just to eat here. The best friendly service and the menu has the best variety out of any restaurant. Fish, hamburgers, breakfast, turkey and stuffing. A little bit of everything. Wish we had one in Knox!! Prices are so reasonable. The pies are amazing.

It aint fine dining but its true honest American food. The service is always really good and you feel cared for. I usually go for dinner but the build your own breakfast was so good last week it may be my new favorite. A great grilled ham and really solid pancakes.

Stopped by here on my way back home! Always enjoyed Perkins when I was in the Florida area so I figured I stop while in Tennessee. Haidyn was our server and he was absolutely incredible!!! The food was great! The chicken breast was well seasoned and the mashed potatoes and corn was good as well. Great prices

We, Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church Family from Newport Tenn,, had our Father’s and Mother’s Day outing at Perkins on Saturday May 31st. We had to change our time for that day and the owner got back with us in a timely manner and accommodated for us with no problem. The staff that waited on us was friendly, nice, and met all our needs. The food was great. I had nothing but good things said. Please try to get these waiter and waitress. They did an awesome job on waiting on us.

I’ve eaten here about a dozen times. It’s a great little family spot on the way up or down I-40. All the staff are very friendly and down to earth.
My personal favorite is the breakfast burger. Get it on wheat toast with some lettuce and tomato- with a jammy egg? Incredible. Also, the silk pie is legendary. I get some for my Mom any time I’m down that way.
