We had breakfast on a Sunday morning, a super busy time at Perkins. When you walk in be sure to write your name on the waitlist. We only waited 5 minutes and were sitting in a booth greeted by our waitress, Lisa. Fantastic food. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. We will be back!

Yesterday evening we ordered breakfast. The place was empty. After we got our food, I noticed that the smoked sausage was very cold, and one piece was not cooked. The waitress never came back to check on us, and the eggs were bearly warm. But the potatoes were smoking hot. It looked like they has some sausage and threw it on the plate then cooked the eggs, then the potato. It was crap. The manager just said “oh”. Oh so no tip and you lost a customer, I used to eat there once or twice a week when I’m in town.

Went Friday night at around 6 PM for what we had hoped was a quick dinner but ended up staying for over an hour due to how busy it was.
The place was packed when we arrived but we were seated promptly. Our server was friendly but we can see that she had a lot of tables and she was very busy.
Eggs were cooked the way I want them, slightly runny. Waffles were good.
They have a wide range of drink selections. Also they have specials for adults who are 55+ which I thought was nice.

If you want amazing southern desserts, this is the place for you.
It was easy to find, lots of parking and it’s open all the way to midnight. The host was very friendly and kind. The service was very fast.
The food was nicely done but the steak was too salty I couldn’t eat it. The rest was okay. I ordered a dessert to make up for it and it was Amazing!!! I’d recommend this place for desserts.
The place is clean and has alot of space but I won’t go back and sit it coz it had this smell of raw chicken that was soo strong and heavy.

Food took forever to greet. Waitress was asked for condiments & forgot. I watched her assist others that came in after. It was not the best experience but I may try again to see if it was only that day

I have been dining at Perkins for many years but I had their “Steak” and peppers” Of the four less than 1/2 ” inch cube of meat of indeterminate category, I did not finish any of them and placed the chewed remnant on the plate. The manager was helpful but this was clearly something they pulled out of a freezer, stuck in a microwave and put in front of me in less than 5 minutes. terrible food if you want to call it that.

We eat here regularly as my office is close. We are always greeted and seated relatively quickly. I love that they have a soda fountain that adds a flavor to the basic diet coke, etc.
They have the best pancakes !!! I’ve tried many all over and these are buttery and light and fluffy!! Just do it! Maybe not every day, but certainly occasionally! they are so good I don’t even add syrup until the last part.
My other favorite is the shrimp teriyaki skillet. Mmmm. Amazingly the shrimp comes out nicely, not all hard and rubbery like so many places do. Impressive considering this is Perkins.
The employees are all very real. They are helpful and sweet and take care of you as fast as they can. They will tell you if it’s crazy and apologize if it’s not as fast as normal. I see them regularly and they are good people. Tip them well, bc not everyone is good back.

Quality, service, portion size, and flavor all spot on. When they ran out of Mac and cheese they replaced it with mash potatoes and added muffins to say thank you for understanding. The turkey meal better than Thanksgiving and a bacon Angus burger having you lick your fingers. Great experience.

A great place to enjoy a great breakfast. Perkins has been in the same location in Venice for as long as I can remember. I recall dining there 40 years ago, in the 1980’s, and they’re still serving breakfast and other American cuisine after all these years. I ordered the Potato Pancakes and was very happy with my meal. We’ll be back

A big shout out to Perkins for squeezing in a party of 36 on a Sunday morning at 9:30 with notice given the night before! They were great! The service was wonderful, the food was hot and delicious and my whole family here for our mothers 90th birthday couldn’t have been happier!! Thank you so very much.
