We got there around 9:30am despite several tables and booths being available and clean we were told that there would be a a wait. No explanation. I wanted to leave and go to Waffle House. My fiancee wanted to stay. We stayed. But I told him that it would effect this review. I could understand this if there were no seating available. Ended up getting seated very quickly. She heard every word I said. Our server was absolutely awesome!!! My breakfast was great. His was not as good. He ordered a med steak and eggs. His steak was closer to well done. He said that it was OK and ate it. I took a picture of it and showed it to the waitress. She went to the manager and we were given 10% off his meal. That was awesome and we didn’t expect it. So the only real problem was the hostess. I could understand if the tables were filled or dirty.

I moved to a different state about five years ago, which doesn’t have Perkins. I was very excited to finally sit down and have a meal at one of my favorite restaurants growing up. Perkins offers, comfort, food and nourishing meals for a low price.
The bakery inside has a huge selection of delicious cakes, pies, and cookies. Me and my family sat down and ate here on a rainy day and we all enjoyed our food very much. our server was kind and we enjoyed playing claw machine and loved the cute monkeys in the little quarter toy machine.

We no longer have Perkins where we live so had to visit while we were in town here visiting family. Waitress was friendly, happy and on top of everything we needed. Food was so delicious and we were happy we came. We had the chicken tenders melt and the turkey dinner kiddos had chicken tenders and rainbow pancakes which came with a drink, a side and a cookie.

We have eaten here many times over the years. Our waitress, Maureen, was too interested in visiting with the people at the back. We waited at least 10 minutes for our pie, after she told us twice she would bring it.

The food was decent, but the portions were a disappointment. For 18.00 I received 6 tiny shrimp and a fish fillet that would have been way too small to keep if I caught it. Smaller than my hand and about 1/4 inch thick. Boo….
