1st timer here!! Came on and was greeted with a very soft voice n a smile ( Jojo). It’s a cozy place n nice n clean. The food came out fast n fresh n hot!! The music is low n enough to talk!! The atmosphere was great!! The food was very good portion!! Bring the family members n friends too!!! They have a very big section of food n also lunch n dinner too!! The price was very reasonable!!! This place can hold small or large grps!!! I Highly recommend this to everyone!!! They do have a kids meal n coloring paper, so they can keep themselves!! They will help you in anyway they can!!!

We have been to this Perkins several times. The food is always consistently good. The services excellent the servers are all nice helpful and friendly. And of course the bakery products are excellent. This location is comfortable and makes it for a very enjoyable dining experience. Also, not to mention the strawberries are very good.
Update 5/26/25 – winter for Memorial Day. Receive three breakfasts for our three Veterans in our party for free. Also had the burger and fries and Pie, which was excellent. And the kids seem to enjoy themselves too and their chicken tenders and mac and cheese.
Update 7/2025: Heather, the server, did such a great job she was the only one on for Friday evening, and she kept up with everything. The food was great. The kids had a blast. It’s such a nice dining out experience.

Well, it was dinner time and I was hungry. I was hungry for like a home-cooked meal so I took Perkins up on a delivery. DoorDash, of course.
I went with the pot roast, mashed potatoes
With gravy and green beans.
The food more than impressed me. Took about 20 minutes to arrive and it showed up nice and warm. I must’ve been starving.
Was it as good as homemade probably not. However, the portions were right. The quality the food was spot on. Perkins Altamonte Springs I will be back for another to go order in the future.

Went there and waited a little longer than expected for a simple breakfast. Waitress was very nice and let me know that there was a little bit of a delay, which was fine. Then my food came out by a kitchen staff and he asked me “is this okay”? I was taken back, mainly because I was greeted with at least a hello. When I started to eat, I noticed the home fries were cooked to well done. I asked if they could be removed from my bill, and the lady agreed. I’m very surprised that a simply meal was an issue to make.

We have been coming to this Perkins for years and have always received excellent service and great food, but we went last Friday (12/26) was a great disappointment. They had the biggest staff that I’ve ever seen on the floor but the worst service ever. The lady that sat us was rude, didn’t even greet us. After we sat, we waited forever for our server to come ask us what did we want to drink. The server never even made eye contact. The drinks took forever. She then asked for our order and left. A few minutes later she showed up again and said she forgot what our order was. We repeated our order and waited for a good length of time to finally arrive. Food wasn’t even warm and juice was not cold. The waitress (I don’t remember her name) seemed annoyed any time we asked for something. I honestly think we’re done with Perkins.

I hate leaving reviews based on service but at what point do we expect better? $30 for breakfast and not receiving items you ordered is wild. You may wonder why I didn’t say anything. Well once my food was dropped at the table and with the check mind you I was never checked on again. Because she knew. Avoided me like I had boogers all over my face. Though checked on ever other table. I wasn’t rude, I wasn’t mean I just wanted bfast. I didn’t leave a bad tip. I understand people have bad days but the total lack of service post food drop off is what was so disappointing.

We went with this specific Perkins location because it had slightly better online reviews than the two others nearby—we’ve had some pretty lackluster visits at the other spots recently.
The basics were fine: the food was typical Perkins fare, and the decor was what you’d expect. No complaints there.
However, the service side was a little bumpy. Right off the bat, we stood at the entrance for a while without being acknowledged, even though the place was practically empty. We also had to ask for a kids menu, and the table they first tried to seat us at just wasn’t big enough for our whole group.
The biggest issue, honestly, was the timing. We hit them right at shift change. You could feel the awkwardness and frustration as the staff tried to hand things off. They managed it, sure, but it definitely wasn’t a smooth experience for us as customers.
If I rated this strictly on the service glitches we ran into, it felt like a 3-star visit. But I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt that the shift change was the main culprit for the chaos. Because of that, I’m bumping it up to a solid 4 out of 5 stars. Hopefully, they can smooth out those transition times!

Disappointed. After failure of Hway192 Perkins had high hopes of Altamonte. Started with wonderful warm greeting on arrival by a greeterand slid rapidly into a perfunctory attitude from the table server called Mike. Food was adequate ,service average with a minimalist interaction. Perhaps new but obvious he wenr from perfunctory to friendly depending on which diners he was serving . Possibly still training, whilst efficient not relaxed- fluid to point of stiff/ stand offish!

It’s cold here so bring a jacket or lite sweater. Typical American food Hamburger, French fries and pies. Meatloaf and Turkey platter. Also offer breakfast options all day.
