The food was *****; the waitress was **… I made a reservation for a friend and I to have dinner. We just sat down and the waitress was over asking what we wanted to drink; 2. a few minutes later, the same question; 3.) again a few minutes later; 4.) we finally just ordered drinks just to shut her up. I’d certainly go back again but if we got the same waitress ~ I’d ask for another one.

This has been my FAVORITE restaurant for years and years. I sulk during the winter months when Periwinkles is closed. The seafood is spectacular, as are the salads. I love the burger as well as the chicken dishes. Save room for dessert. My husband, friend, and I go to Periwinkles at least once a week, and often more than that. It is like a mini vacation. Sit on the deck! Or, if the weather is uninviting, the view from the inside is always a joy.

Worst place to work, havent tried their food..but i worked for 1 day and i didnt come back, dishwashers dont wash the dishes thorally at all..my first day training i was putting dishes away that were greasy and still had food on them ! 11.00$/hr and no benefits at all! Oh just a free meal once a day..this one of the waitresses offered me a milkshake..but she made me a tiny milkshake in a really small cup and had me share it with a co-worker! Ew gross…like i dont know this person ! If you are going to eat at the restaurant make sure your plates are cleaned ! And if you are applying for a dishwashing job, goodluck ! Also didnt recieve my paycheck, i called to see if i can pick it up and the lady was so rude to me and hung up, sorry i found a better job ! You guys can keep the 35$..i dont need it !

Before moving to MA a few months ago, I visited my family often, from California. Started driving to Periwinkles from Georgetown when my grandsons were toddlers. They loved the calamari – the French fries – the chocolate milk. I loved everything I ordered and so did my daughter. It is a cool place in a cool town!

Our first visit ,and when we walked in noticed mold musty smell.Decided to eat outside.Food was delicious well presented and resonably priced.Upon leaving noticed the well worn,dirty carpet throughout could be source of odor.Maybe people who work there are immune to smell but suggest pulling it up, and leave wood.

Always good. Even the burgers! But DO try the coleslaw, they make it with maple syrup! We stop by sometimes just to pick up their chowder and coleslaw to bring home.

Awful experience with the management at this restaurant. The hostess/co-owner was nasty, the atmosphere was all old people, and it wasn’t very clean (seagull poop on the chairs, not so much!) There are better places on the North Shore
