What can I say? My experience at Perilla Korean Steakhouse was AAAAAAMAZING!!! I met Jose’, who I later found out was the manager on the night prior to my reservation when I ordered an evening snack. I was pleasantly surprised when he stopped by my table to ask about my meal from the previous night. He was courteous and genuinely receptive to the feedback. Great exchange! My snack was good but I couldn’t eat it all. My dining experience for the next evening was more than I expected. Christopher was patient with me while I asked 1000 questions and he provided great feedback and recommendations for my meal and drinks. Bethany prepared my marinated short rib to perfection and engaged in pleasantries. Did I mention that their Caesar salad is THE BEST that I’ve had in my lifetime? Both Christopher and Bethany provided outstanding Service. After dinner, I left for a quick moment and returned for dessert and a night cap at the bar. From my entrance (the woman who seated me) until my departure was a wonderful experience. Great job providing top tier customer service.

I found it odd they dont have valet but they do have a garage right around the corner where they park your car for you. The ambiance is nice but where we were seated was strange bc there was a mirror right in front of the booth of the middle section. The food was great. They come and prepare the meat for you where’s the sister restaurant you do it yourself. Guess it depends what you want to do bc feels strange uokeeping a conversation and eating as someone is right in front of you making the steaks. The soonduhn soup was great for being out in the cold. The accompaniments were perfect and flavorful. The glass noodles was probably one of my favorites.

I really enjoyed my brunch at Perilla Steakhouse.
I had the Korean lunch tray with prime skirt steak, and the steak was just absolutely cooked to perfection in every way. ❤️
The meal was very satisfying, and the staff were so warm and friendly throughout my whole dining experience.
The downtown location near the River Walk is also a big plus.

First time at Perilla as a surprise from my boyfriend for my birthday. The staff there were all lovely and worked hard to provide the best experience. They also accommodated us needing to leave at a certain time. The food was very good with my favorites being the A5 wagyu, kimchi fried rice, and Japche. The environment there is lovey and I was welcomed with a birthday card signed by all the staff. I would say it is a bit overpriced, but I would still say it’s worth going and splurging for the experience. Thank you Perilla for giving me a great birthday dinner.

Overall, this is a fantastic experience. I sampled basically the entire menu outside of the grilled meat options. It was all very good, but I highly recommend the Japchae and the Korean Fried Chicken here. The Korean options range in authenticity, so it’s important that you like Korean food if you want to get the most out of your experience! But there are more Western options such as the burger for those that still want to try it. It’s a pretty good burger too!
Service was absolutely incredible! They were very friendly and provided a handwritten note as well as some small bites on the house to celebrate our anniversary. They were attentive and gave some good recommendations for our order.
I had a Chase Sapphire Reserve perk here for $150 off the meal, so this structure was perfect to maximize the credit. I’ll be returning even without this perk!

The food was absolutely fantastic. Along with the experience. The biggest disappointment was not being able to individually order the restaurant week menu. It was for the entire table or nobody. Otherwise, the wagyu hanger steak was fantastic along with the grilled octopus. The drink menu is extensive and extremely tasty. Also had the japcha and seared scallops. Along with the beef Tallow fries. The steak was cooked on a table right in front of us and was the best tasting steak I’ve ever had.

Had an amazing dinner at Perilla Steakhouse! I was able to get a seat at the chef’s table and had the pleasure of being served by Chef Andy himself who took the time to explain each dish and answer any questions we had. Every dish and drink was made with the utmost care, but the real star of the show was the A5 wagyu and how it was prepared. I’m not exaggerating when I say that it was the best steak I’ve ever had! For anyone looking for an elevated Korean BBQ experience, this is one spot you need to try.

The staff is AWESOME.
MOST of the food was AMAZING!
The steak set (premium) was very mid. The flavor was good but we really had to CHEW THIS STEAK. ALL except the waygu. A little unhappy with the amount we paid for that. But the Sweet potato glass noodles were sooooo yummy! They really saved the dinner.
But let me just say, the Cesar salad tonight was probably the best I’ve ever had.
And the Korean fried chicken SLAPS!
8/10 would most definitely we back

Amazing Korean breakfast set. I choose the grilled mackerel as the protein and it was perfection with crispy skin and delicate white flesh. Banchan was on point, especially radish kimchi. And seaweed soup felt soul nourishing. Perfect amount of food.
