The cocktails were excellent. I liked the variety of different types of ice in them too. Nice touch. Curried prawns were excellent, perfect amount of spice. Beef tartare was great, and crab fried rice was to die for. Looking forward to coming back and trying some more of their menu options!

Can’t believe I haven’t reviewed Peridot yet! This is hands down my favourite bar& restaurant in Ann Arbor. I’ve been coming here since shortly after they opened— the cocktails are always incredible (especially the Viper, my all time fav), the food is fragrant and fresh, and the service is always fast and friendly. Special shoutout to the bartenders GC and Elliot who always make me feel super welcome! The music is always great, too, and the general ambiance is clean and classy. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who will listen. Great date night spot, spot for celebrations, or just a fun night out.

We arrived a little late and ended up ordering from the late-night menu instead of the full dinner menu, but honestly, the food did not disappoint at all. Everything was delicious and seasoned to perfection. Our server, Lee, was incredibly kind and helpful, making the experience even better. The drink I ordered was excellent—balanced and refreshing. I can’t wait to come back for round two, this time to try the full dinner menu!

Peridot is such a great spot — a fresh, elevated twist on Vietnamese flavors. Kicked things off with the cucumber salad, and wow… the chilis gave it just the right amount of flavorful heat without overpowering it. The hamachi crudo was another favorite — a perfect mix of sweet and spicy that made every bite pop.
The cocktails here are seriously next level. Jonah is an amazing mixologist — he took a bold rhum agricole and somehow turned it into a perfectly balanced, crisp beauty called Earth Angel. One of the best cocktails I’ve had in a long time.
Delicious food, creative drinks, and a fun, welcoming vibe. Worth a trip to Ann Arbor if you’re not a local!

When you walk into the restaurant, the brick walls covered with beautiful artwork take your breath away. The food was spicy and delicious, and our server was kind and professional. I really loved this restaurant

We ordered quite a few options from the menu. All the appetizers we got were very good – spicy crushed cucumber salad, sticky rice croquettes and fried chicken wings. The wings were the best. For our entree we got crab fried rice and pork belly and meatballs wrap. The fried rice was the best dish we ate. But I was not happy about the pork belly and meatball lettuce wrap. It was just blah and nothing that I would ever order again. Plus it was really expensive ($50). The coconut milk panna cotta was a perfect end to the meal.
I loved the ambience and the drinks were outstanding.
This is definitely worth the visit.

Delicious! Highly recommend crab fried rice and their pickles! My friend loved the duck but I thought it was just ok. The service was above and beyond. Cocktails were very tasty and inventive.

Really loved checking out Peridot. They did a great job redoing the space and making it their own. We sat upstairs and it was super pretty. Love that they have a bar space up there too. Like a secret hideaway. The food was excellent. Really loved just about everything. They have a guarantee on their cocktails so if you don’t like it , they’ll take it back and get you a new one. My friend didn’t like hers so she got wine instead and later they came back and apologized, said they tried it and realized one of the ingredients was off so they fixed it and said sorry for the mistake.
The grilled oysters were fantastic, great flavor but didn’t over-shine the oyster. Loved the scallop dish – perfectly cooked, beautiful broth. The crab fried rice was a surprise, was better than I expected. Definitely tasted the crab (and saw the crab) in every bite; had some puffed rice in there too for texture. The only disappointment were the wings – they were decently tender but not what I expected based off of the menu description and what I’m used to when it comes to Thai wings. They were more like regular buffalo chicken wings and the sauce tasted more like buffalo wing sauce vs the caramelized Thai sauce I’ve had elsewhere. They weren’t bad just didn’t match expectations. I would definitely come back for everything else besides the wings.
The wine list was great. Had a really nice orange wine. And enjoyed a delicious gin cocktail – the vernazza (with cava and olives and a few other things, nice and bright and refreshing). Heard the head guy at last word did the cocktail menu here – looked great and fun.
Also very friendly to gluten free people!

My wife and I come here often and sit at the bar for a cocktail and some food. The bartenders are excellent and go above and beyond to create a pleasant experience. Last time we went, the staff even ran to a nearby grocery store to get coconut milk for a drink my wife ordered. The food is great, too!
