On the way home from Hattiesburg we decided to stop at Perico’s by Juans for the first time.
My daughter ordered the Birria Tacos. She really enjoyed them.
We were given chips that had queso and beef on them with salsa. Those were really good. I ordered a chicken milanese torta which was so big I couldn’t finish. So I happily took the rest home. We had Horchata, that was delicious. And we were given a lemon lime dessert to test out. It was very very good. They should be very proud.
If you are driving through or living in Wiggins it’s definitely a place to stop.
Our Server was Anita and she did wonderful.

Absolutely amazing! The waiter treated us as if he genuinely wanted us to have a good experience which was the first big plus for us. We we greeted with smiles and it continued throughout our whole meal. He was always there when we needed but never once felt overbearing or that we were bothering him. The food was the best we have had! The food tasted very authentic and the portions were so big we ended up taking food home. We are so happy we stumbled across this delicious place and will definitely be back many many times!

First, my bill was $29 for 1, yes 1 person. I ordered the chimichanga with shredded beef, rice and beans. I asked for no pico de gallo and added a small scoop of guacamole. I did get a bowl of queso and they charged $7.98 just for that the food was average. They definitely love to use a lot of cilantro in their salsa and pico de gallo. I get my order and they didn’t leave off the pico de gallo and they forgot my guacamole. The food wasn’t bad at all but I definitely don’t think it’s worth almost $30 for what I ordered. I did have a sweet tea but even still it shouldn’t have been that much lol!! The booth next to me, their order came out wrong. They were apologetic to them so good customer service all around. I have been craving Mexican for months and I guess it just didn’t satisfy my craving honestly. Maybe I’ll give them another try

Staff was very attentive and friendly. Food was terrific!!!! My new favorite Mexican restaurant. They also have great “crazy combos” that are large family meals to go. Looking forward to going back for micheladas and a blenderitta. Enjoyed the Birria tacos!

It has been years since I last ate at this place. Back then, it was just Pericos. The food is not nearly what it was before. The chips were fresh but had some seasoning on them that was not good. The taco salad was bland. The children’s chicken stripe were ok. The queso dip was quite good. The service was also good. I am not saying do not go, but I cannot recommend.

Walking through the door you are greeted with the Especial of the evening. Molly was a great waitress, very attentive and friendly. The family owned business was nice to visit while out working, seeing locals come in to their booth. Hugs being given. All around Very Nice!!

Honestly? Best place in Wiggins to eat. Every time I stop in town I make it a point to eat here.
Finally celebrated my best friends bday here, they sang, brought shots, and everything. Server was AMAZING at anticipating what I needed (the hot-HOT sauce ). They actually had lengua which I CANNOT find hardly anywhere.
Flavor was great. Management was great. Server was great. Not enough good words for this establishment!

Everything was incredible. My family had a great meal with incredible service. The manager was very friendly and enhanced the experience with his personality. The birra was terrific and the chimichanga was delicious. My husband had the stuffed jalapeños which were very tasty and filling.

I’ve eaten at Juan’s in Wiggins a couple times since it opened.
Excellent every time. We were greeted by Ricardo. Not sure if he’s the owner or manager. Very nice guy. The music was a little loud for someone such as myself wearing hearing aids. He kindly turned down the music.
Ricardo offered us a free dessert. Something new they’re offering. It was wonderful!! I didn’t catch the name of the dessert, but it had the creamy consistency of cheesecake, and the flavor of key lime. There were layers of a Mexican cookie, called “Maria”. Again, the hearing aids don’t always pick up all of a word.
The bottom line is, if you haven’t eaten at Juan’s you definitely should give it a try. A gem in Wiggins.
