We arrived just as they opened at 5, got great seats along the street with a garage door that was opened once the evening cooled off. The 3 types of wine we ordered were excellent. The burger was one of the best we’ve had. Do yourself a favor and order the cheese salad! Finally, we finished our wine with a $2 bowl of fresh, warm potato chips… the waitress said they sell LOTS of them… you’ll see why

Went to Perdrix Bistro for their first evening of live music and it was incredible! They had world class singers Alicia Michilli who was on America’s Got Talent, Shannon Labrie a rising star in the Nashville music scene and local artist Emily Otteson. In addition to an awesome evening of music the food was amazing! I ordered two of their dinner entrees shrimp and steak and it was phenomenal. To top off the evening their bartender Ian mixed up one of the tastiest whiskey based cocktails I’ve ever had. Highly recommend visiting Perdrix for lunch, dinner or drinks.

This evening was the third visit my husband and I made to Perdrix once we discovered we had a French Bistro in town! We felt compelled this time to write a review of both what we found to be delightful and perhaps not so delightful. First and foremost, the food was and has been on every visit, absolutely fabulous – kudos to the chef. This is why we have returned and also why we have recommended this restaurant so enthusiastically to our friends and family. Likewise, the service has always been outstanding.
Now for the not-so-delightful. On each and every visit, we were a bit dismayed by the selection of music played for the ambiance of the restaurant. Understanding that music is a very subjective thing, it did not, in our opinion, reflect very well on the type of restaurant we were visiting. The music was loud and irritating, making it difficult to converse with one another to the point of wanting to leave. This kind of music and the volume seemed more appropriate for a young adult’s bar scene than a local neighborhood French Bistro. We did ask if the music could be adjusted and to our delight, it was changed to pleasant French Cafe-style music. Upon finishing our meal, we approached the other diners in our room and asked their opinion of the music. Without exception, all were in agreement that the French Cafe-style music was far more pleasant than the previous selections. Other comments made were, “We had to ask three times to lower the volume, so we could hear one another talk;” “when we first arrived, profanity-laced hip hop was playing;” another said, “I’m looking for a place to hold a birthday party, and the music would definitely impact my decision.”
It is my hope that the owner/chef will be receptive to these comments. We love this restaurant and would like to see it remain in Oregon City for many years to come.

We really enjoyed all our food. Vegetarian, so options were limited, but had the Perdrix salad which was very good. Also head the grilled cauliflower which was a mild curry flavor – very good as well. Shared the mushroom tortellini which was REALLY delicious. The creme brulee was very rich and creamy – perfect for sharing as it was pretty rich and half seemed about right. The cheesecake was pumpkin, and tasted like pumpkin pie with the sweet tartness of cheese cake. The bistro is charming in it’s decor. The price point out this in the ‘special occasion’ category for us. Highly recommend!

This has the potential to be the best restaurant in Oregon City and one of the better on the south end. A couple execution hiccups (chewey frites, plastic in the fettuccine) offset by great service (Ian), PERFECT steak, and a crepe with chartreuse ice cream and orange sauce that was on point. Good atmosphere with live music. I fully expect that as I return over the coming months, this place will get better and better. I’m so excited they’re here!

Absolutely fantastic dinner at the new Perdrix french restaurant in Oregon City. This has stepped up the level of cuisine in OC and is a great addition to Main Street. This is the best restaurant Ive been to outside of Portland in the ‘burbs… Great food, excellent chef, fantastic service (Ryan was amazing!). If you get a chance, go visit and support this little restaurant.

I live in West Linn and am a huge fan of french food. Once I saw the work on this place, I couldn’t wait for it to open and I have not been disappointed. The menu is always changing and made with fresh ingredients. The chef definitely knows what he is doing and impresses with every dish I’ve tried, and the waitstaff is very professional. Can’t recommend highly enough.
