Beautiful, cozy spot in the heart of downtown Durango!
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a wonderful introduction to their freshly made pastas and imported Italian flour. The chef even stopped by our table to talk through the menu offerings, which made the experience feel personal and special.
The ambiance is absolutely perfect—cozy, beautifully decorated for the holidays, and located right next to the Polar Express train station. With the fireplace lit and Christmas décor all around, it truly matched the holiday vibe.
The only downside was the table for two—it felt a bit too small and tight. Since the restaurant wasn’t busy at the time, it would have been nice to be offered a more spacious seating option.
Now the food… everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and of excellent quality. Portions were generous, and the complimentary Fresh focaccia bread was addictive. The bean soup and freshly made pasta were bursting with flavor. My only wish is that the soup had been served hotter; even after requesting it hot due to the cold weather, it arrived barely warm.
Aside from that, the service was spot on from start to finish. Parking in downtown was a bit challenging, but there were paid options available at reasonable prices.
Highly recommend this place for a fantastic Italian dining experience!

This was seriously one of my favorite restaurant meals ever. I got the seafood risotto. My husband got ravioli with meatballs and tiramisu. All my seafood was cooked perfectly, and the flavor of the dish was amazing. He said the tiramisu was the best one he’d ever had. Our waiter was awesome and gave us excellent recommendations. We will absolutely go back next time we are in Durango.

We had a date night here and it was a very pleasant evening. We both started with the beet salad with citrus dressing, which was very good! For dinner he had the seafood pasta and I had a build your own pasta with gnocchi and vodka sauce. Everything was delicious, service was fast and friendly, we felt very taken care of and had a great time. I highly recommend making a reservation.

Perbacco Cucina Italiana saved me and my family after an afternoon/evening run on the D&SNG Highline Route. The train ride started out very hot and miserable and my two year wanted nothing but to be off that train. Once we got some speed up, he settled and slept. Mom and older brother were not much happier. After arriving back in Durango at 8:10 pm, we had a 2 hour druve ahead of us to Telluride/Mountain Village. I told my wife that we only had a few options for dinner since everything at Mountsin Village would be closed by the time we arrived. We could pick up McDonald’s or other fast food and head out or sit down to dinner in Durango before it got too late. After stepping out of the train station, there was Perbacco like an oasis in the desert. It was unassuming from the outside and we stepped cautiously in. Stepping to the hostess stand we were told it would likely be a 25-minute wait. Then in from heaven drops, Kim, the owner and she miraculously finds the perfect table for my worn out family. Teegan, another angel from heaven got us quickly filled with water and a tray of focaccia bread for the two year old to start with. We were advised that our waiter was Mauro, authentically Italian from head to toe. He took our drink orders and we went ahead with the starters and main courses not to waste time and fill our hungry bellies. The salads were so fresh and delicious and the mains did not disappoint. My fillet al fungi was expertly cooked and very tender. Everyone enjoyed the food and the experience very much. Our tough afternoon turned into an evening delight. We got a beautiful dessert to go and left with big smiles all around. NB We were also introduced to Massimo, the chef, the other owner, husband of Kim and brother of Mauro. This fine restaurant is authentically Italian. If you are in Durango, don’t miss it. If you are departing from the Durango and Silverton train, make a reservation for 15 minutes after your return time. You will NOT be disappointed. Grazie mille Kim, Massimo, Mauro and Teegan.

What a beautiful restaurant. My wife and I sat near the bar were absolutely amazed by the atmosphere. Our waiter, John was very knowledgeable about the menu and the wide range of specials they offered that night. The food was on another level. I had venison short ribs and my wife had the risotto al funghi and both were perfect.

Perbacco was one of the best meals we had while in Durango for a wedding. The space inside was large and well decorated with Italian flare. There was a bar area and outdoor seating as well. The service we received throughout was phenomenal with great suggestions. The food we received ranged from good to outstanding, with my lemon chicken being a particular standout. Drink options were also well varied and tasty.

The Parmigiana di Melanzane was flavorful and decent—though I personally prefer the eggplant a bit crispier. The penne with marinara sauce was nicely done. The white sauce pasta, however, had a sharpness that was a bit overpowering for our taste. One small letdown: they were out of crème brûlée, and I wish that had been mentioned before ordering. Overall, the ambiance was nice, and the experience was good as well.

Fantastic and classy. They were able to squeeze my husband and I in on Valentines Day, which was so great with how busy they were. They gave the ladies a rose upon being seated and we each got a free glass of wine. Food was delicious at every turn! Waiter was amazing and charming. It was slightly expensive but worth it for the experience and food. Loved it!
