Once we arrived, we waited a few minutes for a table, but the wait wasn’t too long, so we got a seat pretty quickly.
The food was very nice. It did take some time to get the food, but we came at peak lunch hours, so that kind of made sense. Me and my friend were really grateful we were able to get a table. My friend ordered the Peach Fritz, and oh my it was so good. I ordered the San Pellegrino, and it was also very good. We both ordered pasta, and the food was amazing! They even offered to sprinkle cheese and pepper. We spent around £50, for 2 people. The portions are fairly large, so I’m happy with the price I paid. Strongly recommend if visiting St Albans

This amazing spot is definitely a must-visit. The food was incredible, especially the Pasta Fettuccine Pesto which was absolutely mind-blowing. I couldn’t resist the Torta Di Mele either, it had the perfect amount of salted caramel sauce. We also tried the cantina wine which transported us straight to Italy. The atmosphere was great and the staff were fantastic, making recommendations that we all enjoyed.

This was the first time we had been here and we visited for my daughters 21st and they made it really special for her, without having to ask them to do anything, it was so lovely.

Incredible Italian restaurant, conveniently straight across the hotel we were staying at (Sam Ryder Hotel)! The food was divine; the arancini was amazing and the pasta dishes were immaculate and extremely authentic. The drinks were fantastic too; I had a negroni to start with which was one of the best I’ve had in UK, then had the Sirah red wine from Sicily which was truly spectacular. Speaking of which, the wine selection was brilliant – all options for just having a glass were great choices and quite reasonably priced. The crème brulé was to die for, and the tiramisu was delicious and authentic! The staff and service was great, they were very friendly, accommodating, and attentive. Would come back in a heartbeat!

Authentic Italian Restaurant, service was excellent. The waiters made sure we was comfortable and happy with the food. We had the linguine de Mare and fettuccine pesto, highly recommend! and for dessert the Torta Di Mel, it’s an apple tart with ice cream and salted caramel drizzle. Amazing dessert if you want something sweet but not over filling. Deffo worth visiting if you’re craving Italian!

I am giving this 4 stars because most of the others in the group enjoyed their meals , the service was superb , very friendly and professional and seemed nothing was too much to ask , it also had a great atmosphere . I ordered Linguine di mare , and it was not great to be honest , I usually order this dish in all the Italian restaurants I visit , and this was the worst out of them all , I believe the cook must have used frozen shellfish as it was very hard to chew and most of the shells were empty , my starter was fine but my wife’s soup was lukewarm , it was a Saturday night and I suppose they were very busy .

First time visiting for lunch with my family, who had just arrived after a 14-hour flight. We arrived 15 minutes early and were seated quickly. Staff were very attentive, especially helping us order due to my toddler’s cow’s milk allergy, which is tricky with Italian food.
The food was delicious — pasta was cooked perfectly, and the risotto was outstanding. Some dishes were a bit spicy for my family, who aren’t used to spicy food. Desserts were lovely too; the tiramisu had a lighter coffee flavour than we’re used to, but still very enjoyable.
Only downside: the wait for the main courses was quite long (about 45–50 minutes), and with a 1.5-hour dining limit, it felt rushed. Would be better if desserts could be ordered together with the mains.
Overall, a great meal with friendly service
