Truly a treat to dine at Peppe’s late Friday night! The highlights of the night were the appetizer trio (which is off menu & have to ask for, $15) and the halibut special ($48). The halibut was juicy & lemony, while the ravioli featured in the appetizer trio was some of the best we’ve had in STL. Also pictured was the saltimbocca di vitello entree ($44) and the panna cotta dessert. Our server, Tony, was very attentive and was quick to refill our wine and water glasses. It’s a small place and we agree with the reviews that it’s hard to hear each other. I solely think it’s because of the old acoustics of the building so we didn’t mind the noise much. Regardless, we had a pleasant time! Peppe’s truly showed their five star service by providing Prosecco and dessert for our anniversary celebration. 10/10, would recommend for those looking for finer dining in the Kirkwood area.

We visited Peppe’s for a birthday dinner for my Husband. We were delighted with our choice. Cozy, classy atmosphere, straightforward wine list, friendly and attentive staff. Anthony (TONY) was impeccable. The Carppacio and Lumache alla Peppe were the stand outs for us.

We’ve morphed to Italy. This was a very fun lunch and we didn’t get kicked out. Typically, they don’t let us in a nice spot. Too many shenanigans. This is an elevated and elegant spot. We had a little wine for lunch. The halibut and all of its buttery glory is the best thing on the menu! #stlouispescatarianappproved Protip: keep some bread to sop up the sauce that comes on the halibut. They call that “Fare La Scarpetta” in Italy, showing appreciation by not wasting the sauce. My friends got some flesh, the carpaccio, and they seemed to enjoy it. The service was fantastic. So much fun.

Peppe’s will take you on a journey of fine dining experience at a fraction of the cost compared to some places. The atmosphere, service, and food are exceptionally good.

My husband and I celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary with the most delicious decadent amazing dinner. Service was top notch and the food was out of this world! They made us feel so special and made sure we were spoiled! And even gave us a complimentary bottle of Prosecco to help celebrate. This will always be our favorite spot.
We even held our daughter’s bridal shower here. I can’t recommend this beautiful place highly enough!

Peppe’s Apt. 2 was outstanding from start to finish. The atmosphere is elegant, warm, and inviting – perfect for a special night out. The appetizer’s alone set the bar high – the cannelloni and shrimp scampi were absolutely delicious. The salad was fresh and perfectly balanced.

For the main course, the ribeye with gorgonzola was cooked to perfection – rich, tender and bursting with flavor – paired with beautiful cone mashed potatoes, which were creamy and unforgettable.

And the dessert? To die for. The perfect ending to an incredible dining experience!

The owner was attentive, adding a personal touch that made the experience even more special.

Exceptional food, elegant ambiance and service that truly stands out! 5 Stars!

Friday lunch was delicious. The atmosphere is lovely and refined. The Peppe’s and spinach salads were very good. The entrees of veal piccata and grilled halibut were excellent as well. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra music was a wonderful addition to the experience. I can’t wait to return in spring when I can dine in their outdoor garden.

This small hidden gem of a restaurant lies in Kirkwood. Be sure to make your reservation well in advance. We loved the cozy romantic feel at our table for 2.

We shared the carpaccio and each had salads. I highly recommend the goat cheese salad. My entree was their best selling pasta with tenderloin tips. Flavor was spot on for everything. Highly recommend, make your reservation today!

I started with their house Cabernet Sauvignon and it was smooth. Slightly fruity and well balanced. We skipped ordering appetizers and went straight to ordering dinner. I went with an off menu special, halibut in a lemon butter sauce with string beans. The halibut was cooked nicely. I really enjoyed the lemon butter sauce. Sometimes the sauce can make the fish too rich but this was perfect. The string beans were cooked perfectly so they still had a slight crunch to them. Excellent meal! Our waitress did an excellent job. She stayed on top of everything. They have a parking lot on the back side of the restaurant and there’s ample street parking too. Cozy restaurant with lots of character.

Sammy was our server and she was EXCEPTIONAL! The food was truly amazing, we had the chicken breast and rigatoni, the Pepe salad, and the raspberry panna cotta for dessert was light, sweet, tart…perfect. Great vibes, great food, great people. Can’t recommend enough, we were blown away and it made my wife’s birthday one to remember.
