Welcome to the PepperTree Restaurant! We offer 140 seating for dining and 70 seats in our sports bar lounge and are open daily at 9am for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night dining. Update: Visited again yesterday. Food was spectacular today! Bacon cheeseburger was perfectly prepared and came with the best fries I’ve had in forever! A friend ordered the traditional breakfast which he said was also fantastic! Quantity of food was just right (though I wished for more fries because they were so good). The only down side was coffee refills didn’t come without request and everything after the first cup was just lukewarm. Still have’n’t had the courage to try another margarita to see if they were back to the way they used to be. Next time I will check with the server who I know was there when the margaritas were made good.
Used to love visiting this place every trip to Watrous. Amazing food, great service and an amazing sun room that felt incredible to dine in during spring and fall, bright, cosy and warm! They changed owners not long ago and it’s not as good as it used to be. Visited yesterday to give them another chance. Service was awesome, food was quite good. They have a summer menu which looks great and appealing. I had the chicken quesadilla (not off the summer menu), it was quite good. However we used to love the margaritas there! Good value for the money and a great beverage overall! However, not the same anymore. I hoped the small margarita with no hint of alcohol last visit was a mistake or exception but I tried one again yesterday and I’m sorry to say same thing. Volume is less than half of previous which means you should be able to taste the supposed 2 ounces of alcohol but no, not a hint. So sorry, the food and service was good but it’s disappointing to not be able to give a good overall positive rating. Food and service was good yesterday but I recommend getting bottled beverages, at least you know what you’re getting. A shame because Watrous is such a great community and this restaurant was so good before!! If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

Before we got to the Manitou Springs resort, we stopped here for lunch. We sat in an open space solarium/ greenhouse type section….I loved it and would definitely go again. For being such a small town, they also had quite a few customers which is a good sign and I appreciated the decor. The food was good as well.

So I’ve never been to Saskatchewan before. But if this place is representative of the whole province, it’s my favorite. Everyone was so nice to us. They even turned on American football for us even though hockey was on. And there’s so much to do in this place, gamble, pool, darts, kokanee, etc. There’s so much cool memorabilia on the walls, a beautiful enclosed porch area, a big screen, plenty of other tvs, and great food. Thanks for having us Grace!

This is the perfect restaurant. Great atmosphere, caring and attentive staff, huge portions, excellent tasting food and easy on the wallet.
Without a doubt some of the best ribs I’ve ever had anywhere.
And that’s just the restaurant. There’s also a large and inviting sports bar attached that has a huge atrium and a cozy bar.
PepperTree Family Restaurant is the real deal and I highly recommend you visit.

Poor service bad coffee, large portion for omelet and hash browns, I enjoyed the orange wedges and made the mistake of ordering an omelet that had no cheese my fault there.

Great little stop when visiting Watrous Lake. The servers were friendly, the patio was nice, and the food was made by someone who obviously knows what they’re doing.
I ordered the Greek ribs, with another side of almond pepper shrimp. Both were good, the ribs were fall-off-the-bone fantastic and seasoned to perfection. If I’d known that they were *actually* a full 2 pounds as advertised, I would’ve just stuck with that. This being my first time at the PepperTree, I didn’t know, so I also ordered shrimp.
Needless to say, I was very, very full.
My fiancee got the chicken cordon bleu, with mushroom sauce. The sauce was more of a gravy, but she loved it. She couldn’t get over how tasty the fries were. There was a small side of veggies, and they had beets in there, a nice touch.
All in all, well worth the money.
