Locally owned seafood restaurant. Family friendly. Serving the freshest seafood around. A friendly gathering spot named after my grandfather, PEPPER MARTIN.

We stopped in for lunch at Pepper’s Seafood Co., located at 243 Main St, Ogunquit, ME 03907, on Sunday, November 30, 2025. It was a chilly day, and we were immediately pleased to enter such a warm and inviting restaurant. The menu offered a variety of choices, so we could all try different things. I had the burger of the month, and my son-in-law had a lobster roll. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our choices. The service was excellent, relaxed, totally competent, and friendly. We highly recommend Pepper’s Seafood.

They had Gluten free menu, with a great deal of options.
I had the clam chowder, which was ok. With baked haddock, came with mashed potatoes and carrots and turnips. The meal was good but my favorite part was the veggies. My husband had fried clams, he said they were awesome!

Absolutely delicious! We tried the lobster rolls, the fried haddock sandwich, and several appetizers — everything was super fresh and full of flavor. Great quality, friendly service, and a lovely overall experience. Highly recommended!

We were looking for a good sit down place to have east coast lobster. Pepper’s seafood came up first, for best place to eat lobster. It was not wrong! The 1-1/4 lobster dinner was excellent. It presented well, and tasted great! The owner was very nice! And they are open year around. I would definitely recommend.

Food was good, drinks were ok. We had the lobster rolls and whole belly clams. The rolls had a good amount of lobster and the clams were delicious and the portion was big! The calamari was tender but the marinara was cold and there was more batter than calamari. Would probably pass on them. Prices for the food were probably a tad bit high, especially for the off season, but it was tolerable. The drink prices seemed really high. Sorry but I’m not paying $10+ for draft beer. Think it was $8 for a Guinness can. I get paying this in the dead of summer and peak season, but it is crazy in February. This time of year there are no issues getting a table. Would we go back? I dunno, so many options in the area, but wouldnt be mad if we did.

We recently had a chance to try Peppers Seafood in Ogunquit for dinner and we were pleasantly surprised! Our server Claudia was attentive and friendly. We started with the garden salad which is big enough for sharing. For dinners we enjoyed the baked scallops and seafood pasta. The blueberry pie which is homemade was a nice dessert! We’ll definitely be revisiting!

I was looking for a place to enjoy a really good lobster roll, and by chance I walked into Pepper’s Seafood. They welcomed me warmly, the staff was friendly, and I ended up having an excellent, very generous lobster roll. The portion was big, fresh, and full of flavor. Prices were also great.
I definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area.

Peppers Seafood in Maine blew us away! The standout of the meal was hands-down the haddock chowder—it was so creamy, rich, and flavorful. Honestly one of the best chowders we’ve ever had—comfort in a bowl and worth the trip alone!

The pepper fried calamari had the perfect amount of heat , tanginess and crunch, the haddock dishes were fresh and flaky, and the seafood pasta was packed with flavor. We also loved the mussels, fresh oysters, and the scallop dinner—each dish felt thoughtfully prepared. And if you’re not in the mood for seafood, their burgers are seriously good too!

And we can’t forget Matthew—aka Matt the Man! He made our experience exceptional from start to finish. Friendly, funny, and super attentive—he truly elevated our whole meal.

If you’re in the area, don’t miss this spot. Amazing food, great atmosphere, and unforgettable service!

This place rules! Such a gem for the town and a place that you can usually get in to with quick service, fresh food, something for everyone, and affordable prices! I like to get the fried shrimp appetizer and swap it with buffalo sauce, the giant pretzel, and whatever the fish of the day is! I also love their special calamari appetizer, onions rings, lobster rolls, and more!
